Magnificent walk between the Pont des Oules du Diable and the Cascade du Buchardet waterfall.
Oules du Diable, Cascade du Buchardet and Cabane de l'Aup

Very nice, accessible hike: no difficult passages, breathtaking views of the glaciers all the way, regular waterfalls, marmots, an incredible end to the hike with the Oules du Diable.
Hike done on August 23, 2014, a year with a lot of water, we were lucky: waterfalls and torrents "at full throttle" and a very flowery route!
The Lac du Lauvitel from La Danchère

The Lac du Lauvitel and its integral reserve (the first in France, created in 1995).
The Charance Gap and the Col de la Côte Gelée loop
Climb up to the breach to enjoy the view from the ridges of the Charance mountain (including the Col and Tête de Guizière), before descending via the Col de la Côte Gelée. Although most of the climb is through forest, the ridges and descent are more exposed to the sun.
Vallon de Combau - Tête Chevalière, Vercors

A hike in Drôme and Isère, but starting from the Vercors drômois side.
The Vallon de Combau and the Tête Chevalière at 1951m. A panoramic view over the Trièves valley.
During the months of May and June, the Vallon du Combau is must-visit destination, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna, particularly marmottes.
A relatively easy hike up to the Pas de l'Essaure pass, then a little more difficult.
The Palastre loop
An ascent through mountain pastures and alpine meadows to the pass and then the summit of the Palastre, a renowned viewpoint over the Champsaur valley. The rest of the loop towards the pass between the Pic du Clot Lamiande and the Pointe Prouveyrat is not well marked, but the view of the Vallon du Tourrond is worth the detour. Note that the southern exposure of the slope is offset on the descent by streams and waterfalls that refresh this long route, which is best suited to experienced walkers.

The highest point in the Vercors at 2341 m, the Grand Veymont offers 360° panoramic views.
The Flaming Fountain circuit
A hike that visits one of the 7 Wonders of Dauphiné.
A loop through the Serre-Brion and Morta passes starting from Bourgmenu

A vertiginous and rarely-taken loop, where you come across ibexes and chamois at every hairpin bend. Make sure you always have a helmet (ibexes love to send stones flying), as well as crampons and an ice axe until late in the season, as névés remain in place fairly long within the steep Serre-Brion couloir. It is best to start your hike early in the morning so that snow is still hard when reaching this couloir.
Le Piolit via Rouanne Haute, Col de Chorges, Col de la Pourrachière

At the gateway to the Parc des Écrins, in the Champsaur Massif, this magnificent hike begins at Rouanne Haute. The path winds gracefully through a larch forest, crosses streams of fresh, crystal-clear water and leads us, below the Col de Chorges, to the brown-tinged mountain pastures, sometimes still dotted with majestic snowdrifts despite the approach of summer. At the top of the Piolit, a breathtaking 360° panorama opens up, revealing the surrounding massifs and the splendid Lac de Serre-Ponçon.
