The subsequent walk through the Glenne State Forest offers a much easier route in the shade of beautiful old spruce plantations, which share the space with fine chestnut trees, some of which are also of a very respectable size. The final section takes you past Morvan farms, their crops and numerous pastures home to herds of Charolais cattle.
