Bouresse walks

Hike alternating between different types of terrain: roads, paths, forest trails, offering beautiful views of the Vienne valley and the Civaux nuclear power plant.

The route is in the commune of Aslonnes, between the Jardin du Prieuré de Laverré, the springs and the dolmen. With this route mapped out on Visorando, you will often be off the beaten track, so there are no signposts.

A hike around the Benedictine Abbey of Sainte-Croix, exploring nature between the Miosson stream and the Fontarnaud woods. An easy route along dirt tracks, marked trails and short sections of paved local roads. Passes close to the Fontaine de Flée fountain.

This walk allows you to discover the village of Saint-Savin and the Gartempe valley. Beautiful views of the abbey. The abbey is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This hike follows the marked trails "La vigne aux moines" (yellow markings).

This urban route offers an unusual way to discover Poitiers through its ancient streets and hillside neighbourhoods. It allows you to admire Saint-Pierre Cathedral, Notre-Dame-la-Grande and Saint-Jean Baptistery, while offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. The route includes stairs and steep streets, requiring a good level of fitness.

This is a fun little hike to discover Poitiers through its monuments. The duration and distance of your route will vary depending on how curious you are. Feel free to leave the initial route temporarily to explore a monument and then resume your walk. If you are curious, the walk can be much longer. Note that a bus line (2A or 2B) will take you back to your starting point and destination.
