Blennes walks

A circular route leading from Blennes to Vallery along the Orvanne river. Upon arrival in Vallery, you will discover the magnificent Saint-Thomas de Cantorbéry Church and the Château de Vallery (private). The return journey takes you through Les Bergeries and across the Orval river.

This is an easy, short hike, offering the opportunity to discover some beautiful wash houses and the banks of the Orvanne. Children who are used to walking and older people can keep up.

A circular loop between Vaux-sur-Lunain and the hamlet known as "Le Nid du Corbeau", following the banks of the Lunain. A semi-shaded route, pleasant in the morning, with the return leg with the sun at your back.

Hike along the banks of the Orvanne from Thoury to Flagy. Discover Flagy and the Pierre Cornoise menhir.

A circuit to the east of Lorrez-le-Bocage, along the Lunain in places with views of Lorrez-le-Bocage both to the south and north. The starting point is the car park in Place de la République in Lorrez-le-Bocage.

A circular route through the plains and some woodland of La Brosse-Montceau. Here you can admire the Château de La Brosse and a few historic wells. The route runs alongside part of the aqueduct, some of which is buried and some of which is above ground.

A hike through fields for the most part, which conceals a very rich heritage: three Romanesque churches, an old mill, an old watchtower, a castle and a menhir. Five metal crosses mark the route around the pretty, flower-filled village of Flagy.

An easy walk to explore the Lunain Valley.

A hike with a water theme! First, across fields, you will pass sand pits and disused quarries that have been transformed into vast ponds. The second part takes place entirely along the Yonne, which you follow for about 7 km. Two churches and two castles complete the picture nicely.

The Chemin de La Belliole is a PR® walking and hiking trail listed in the Departmental Plan for Walking and Hiking Routes (PDIPR) for the Yonne department.The hike offers a pleasant mix of varied landscapes with a significant proportion of wooded areas and undergrowth.There are no steep slopes or dangerous sections, making it very accessible for bikes, especially when children want to accompany their parents. Three picnic areas have been set up by the municipality along the route.

Hiking around Varenne-sur-Seine. The trails leading to springs, mills and wash houses complete this circuit, passing by the Noue Notre-Dame leisure centre and the botanical garden with its castle.

This is the twenty-fifth stage of the Grand Tour of Île-de-France via the GR®11, starting from Montereau station, not far from the confluence of the Seine and the Yonne, and ending at Moret-Veneux-les-Sablons station, not far from the confluence of the Seine and the Loing. The stage, entirely on the GR®11, follows a route on the left bank of the Seine, joining the Orvanne valley a little further south, and returns to Moret-sur-Loing and its beautiful historic centre, following the Canal du Loing on its towpath.

A short 3 km loop, marked in pink, starting from the Church of Saint-Victor, built in the 12th century and renovated in the 16th century.You will take a path that leads to the wetland area where there is an unusual Gustave Eiffel-style wash house.This wetland area contains several bubbling springs.In the wash house itself, you can already see a few bubbling springs.By skirting around this wetland area, you will follow the Yonne river to take the towpath, then go around the Grand Varennes estate with its park and mill, before returning to the town hall and village square after discovering the house of the regicide Jacques-Clément.

Passing through the Seiglats Regional Nature Reserve on this hike, you will see a variety of birds, including birds of prey and passerines, as well as locks along the banks of the Seine and Yonne rivers and ponds.

Open to all, with free access from 26 May to 21 September, the Chemins d'Artistes 2024 organised by the Ruban Vert allows visitors to admire around forty works by national and local artists, children's works and works of nature.It passes through the Arènes du Bocage, a former chalk quarry that was almost turned into a landfill but was saved by the municipality of Égriselles-le-Bocage and became an open-air theatre. It too has inspired many artists and is set to remain beyond 2024.
