Departure from the car park opposite the town hall in Voulx. Access at the junction of Grande Rue and Rue du 19 Mars 1962.
(S/E) At the start, cross Grande Rue in front of the town hall and turn right.
(1) At the bridge over the Orvanne, turn left. Then head towards the church square on the right. From this point onwards, you are on theGR® de Pays de l'Orvanne, marked in yellow and red. Walk past the church on the left and take the first lane on the left. When you reach Rue de l'Ile, turn right.
Follow the first alley on the right, which leads to a branch of the Orvanne. Cross the first footbridge, leaving a small dam on the river on your left.
Continue along the path, which is still marked, and cross a second footbridge. The path passes close to the cemetery.
(2) At the junction with a tarmac road, take the path opposite. The path runs alongside the sports field and follows the edge of the woods.
(3) When you reach a sign indicating "les îles de l'Orvanne" (the Orvanne islands), turn right onto the path, cross the footbridge and follow the path on the right. This path goes round in a circle and takes you back to the footbridge, which you cross again to return to the fork.
::3:. Then turn right and continue along the path that leads to the Diant playground. Cross the playground.
(4) Turn right to see the Diant wash house. Retrace your steps and follow Rue des Sablons on the right. Leave the marked trail and follow Grande Rue on the right to the town hall square, then head towards Montmachoux. Go up the street of the same name to the first path on the right, which you should follow.
(5) At the top of the path, at the Croix Fête, turn left onto the path and cross the Route de Montmachoux. Continue straight ahead on this path. After the first crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(6) At the crossroads, take the first path on the right. This path leads to a tarmac road. Turn left and at the next crossroads, turn right onto Rue de Chasles, then left. Continue along this street, which turns right. At the T-junction, turn left. You are now back on theGR® de Pays de l'Orvanne (Yellow and Red)
(7). Turn right, along the Orvanne, and continue along the lane that leads to the car park at the starting point (S/E).
