Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the community centre.

(S/E) Walk down the path and turn left towards the ponds. Walk along the Bois de la Limace until you reach the junction with the municipal pond on your left.

(1) Turn right. Continue to the T-junction.

(2) Turn right again and continue along the tarmac road until you reach the D231.

(3) Follow the road to the left , taking care. Pass through the hamlet of Petit Corru, go past the entrance to the château, then cross the Ru de Corru. Look for a path branching off to the left.

(4) Take the path towards the Chêne au Roi. At the T-junction, turn left again. Walk past the farm, cross the small road and continue towards Courtoin.
About 200 metres before you reach the hamlet, take a short detour to the right to admire Courtoin Church, situated in the middle of the small cemetery, near the pond.

(5) Turn back, take the path on the right and cross the D63 with care. Continue left on the D24 until you reach the first path on the left.

(6) Turn left onto the track and follow it alongside the Marnes and Guibauderie woods. You’ll reach the crossroads where four paths meet.

(7) Turn left into the woods and carry on straight ahead until you reach the road.

(8) Turn right and, at the Ferme de Hongrie, continue left along the dirt track.

(9) When you reach the village, turn left onto the tarmac road, then left again until you reach the wash house.

(10) Take a short break to admire the washhouse and the Croix Saint-Loup before turning right into Rue du Lavoir to return to the starting point (S/E).
