Then, follow paths (Palladian and Wychwood Ways) in the countryside following River Evenlode until you reach the remains of a large Roman courtyard villa. You finally go back to Woodstock using a section of Oxfordshire Way.

Thenford Hill and Upper Wardington from Middleton Cheney
This delightful walk explores parts of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire using a section of the Millennium Way. The route starts from Middleton cheney and continues via Thenford, Upper Wardington and Chacombe back to the start.
Bladon circular from Begbroke
An Oxfordshire walk that captures typical landscapes of the county. The church at Bladon is also the burial place of Sir Winston Churchill. The route uses established paths.
From Enstone along River Glyme valleys
An interesting and varied walk along the stream/river valleys of the River Glyme and a tributary, and through the park of a country house with several eccentric features. On the way, you can stop at a nature reserve of natural Cotswold limestone grassland. The first half of the walk follows Shakespeare's Way.

Shutford - Balscote Circircular Road Walk Oxfordshire
This delightful walk is good when the ground is waterlogged as it is on minor roads starting in Shutford and passing through Balscote. It provides a good view point of ponds with a range of birds just before crossing A422 Stratford Road and returning to Shutford via Five Ways.
