Very pleasant in summer.Please note that during the week, part of the route may be closed for military reasons (proximity to a firing range). Check with the town hall on 03 63 75 80 63. In this case, it is possible to go from point (4) to point (9) by following the tarmac road. (Route reduced by 4 km).

A route allowing you to discover several well-known and lesser-known sights in the region: Trou du Seri, Château and Lavoir de Gondenans les Moulins, Village of Nans, Châteaux de Bournel, La Gloriette, the cliff and château of Nans, the Grotte de la Pucelle and the Roche de Romain.

A walk that takes you on a journey through time, from the caves and wild landscapes of the Neanderthal era to the wind turbines of modern man. Some sections of the route are off-trail and difficult when vegetation is at its thickest (access to the Grotte de la Pucelle, in particular, from the corner of Cut IX). Avoid wearing shorts!

This day-long hike combines the best of the hikes already offered in this area, including the mines, the Belles Filles pond, Le Querty, the summit of La Planche, the shelter and statue of the Virgin Mary at Mont Ménard, and memorial sites (steles and monuments).

A lovely walk, almost entirely through woodland and without any difficulty, offering the chance to discover traces of the 19th-century mining history of this area of Champagney (mine shafts, slag heap, railway line, mining towns). Ideal for families; children can try out some of the exercises on the fitness trail. Please note that this route is not affected by the Champagney municipal by-law prohibiting access to communal forests from 31 July to 23 August 2026.

A trail offering numerous views of the surrounding peaks. A special mention goes to the viewpoint at Haut du Roc, which offers a panoramic view of the Moselotte Valley stretching as far as Remiremont, not to mention the Tables de Charlemagne.

This hike includes steep trails. Mainly through the woods, this route is pleasant even in summer. The changing landscapes follow one another with beautiful crossings of forests with varied species and surprising geological features.

A pleasant, easy walk in a typical area of the Vosges Saônoise, through meadows and forests with streams and ponds. The route takes you past some of the area’s religious heritage, notably nineteen crosses or calvaries and two chapels, as well as the ruins of several farms and several viewpoints over the Vosges mountains.

A forest walk with beautiful views over the Moselle valley and the Vosges ridges, from the Ballon de Servance to the summit of the Drumont via La Bouloie. A wonderful adventure offering a glimpse into the history and heritage of this little paradise.

Short, half-day mountain walks in magnificent surroundings.

Hike offering magnificent views, particularly at sunset behind the Ballons and with the magical lights of the Alsace plain. Plan to leave 2½ hours before the official sunset time. Please note that the return journey will be at night, so headlamps are required.

After a circular walk around the fort’s moats and perhaps a visit to the fort itself, a gentle descent through the shade follows the route of the access road that once led to the fort, winding through the woodland. The return journey along the bottom of the valley beside the Ruisseau Le Gombois offers the chance to enjoy the cool, refreshing air to the full.

A short walk offering a chance to see structures dating from the late 19th century: an old lock, followed by Fort Salbert and its gun batteries, all set amongst meadows and pretty woodlands without any particular difficulties. Recommended as a way to get back into walking after the winter break or as a family outing to fill an afternoon.

A mountain hike offering the chance to discover the legendary sites around Rochesson, such as the Rocher des Ducs, the Trou de Baheu, the Cascade du Bouchot and the Cascade (Saut) de Battion.

A route partly through woodland, offering the chance to discover numerous sites and monuments. 

Hike alternating between forests and alpine meadows with magnificent views and passing through wonderful sites such as Lac des Perches and Lac Neuweiher or the Haute-Bers stubble fields.Please note that there are some tricky sections for those who are prone to vertigo and fear of heights on the GR®5 section overlooking Lac des Perches.

Short hike on the Ballon de Servance hill with numerous viewpoints over the other hills of the Vosges, the Moselle valley and, on a clear day, the Bernese Alps. Ideal for a Sunday outing with afternoon tea at the chalet or an evening barbecue with friends.

This hike takes you over the summit of Ballon d'Alsace with its wonderful views, then along the northern slope with a possible break at the magnificent Petite Chaume chalet or Baraque de Morteville. Once the footbridges have been repaired, it will be possible to shorten the route by taking the superb path under the Roches de Morteville.
