Saint-Allouestre walks

A circular route starting from Bignan, crossing a rural landscape and moorland around the two large wind turbines in Bignan, then passing by the Sainte-Nolwenn fountain. This route is marked in yellow under the name "Circuit des Landes de Lanvaux".

Starting from Guéhenno, famous for its monumental calvary, the route passes through several hamlets around the River Sédon, as well as through woods and along field edges. Most of the route is on paths and, occasionally, on a few quiet roads.

This route winds its way through forests and valleys, alongside the River Tarun. There is the option to shorten the route or take a detour via the ridges. A moment of tranquillity in a bucolic natural setting

Take a stroll to discover what makes Josselin such a historic place. As you wander through the town's narrow cobbled streets, you can admire the many half-timbered houses, the oldest dating back to 1538, the churches and the castle (entrance fee). A very pleasant walk.

Dominated by the tall silhouette of the Château de Josselin, the River Oust is one of the sections of the Nantes-Brest Canal. This walk follows the shaded course of the river and leads to the charming Chapelle Saint-Gobrien.

A route offering beautiful green landscapes, partly near the Nantes–Brest Canal, which you follow along the GR® 37. Old chapels, churches and crosses also dot this route, which will undoubtedly give you a real change of scenery.

Set in the heart of the countryside, this route takes you along a number of easily accessible dirt tracks, small roads and a few grassy paths and sunken lanes on either side of the RN24.

A short, very well-marked walk in the Vannes countryside. Highlights include: hedgerow landscapes, sunken paths, woodland, a bread oven, the little Saint-Amand Chapel, the hamlets of Grand Gillard and Scourboc, and the village of Monterblanc.

A route that takes you past several crosses located within the town. It also takes you close to the Nantes–Brest Canal, which is always a pleasant walk in fine weather.

A forest route dotted with numerous Neolithic remains, including a row of around fifty menhirs, most of which are lying down. The remains of a Gallo-Roman camp and a very pleasant walk along the Ruisseau de Trideur stream complete the picture.

A hike through forest and heritage: Lanvaux national forest, Saint-Mériadec chapel, Notre-Dame de Fatima aux Granges, the tomb of the seven holes and the forest pond.

The moors of Pinieux offered the resistance fighters of the Maquis de la Nouette a fragile shelter during dark times. This wooded area occupies a hilltop between the Claie and Oust valleys and offers some views of eastern Morbihan. And a gem nestles in the hollow of one of the valleys: the Kerfontaine bog. Please note: crossing the bog requires off-track walking.

A hike dominated by stone, water, moss and trees! The route, mainly through forest, crosses numerous streams and offers views of two beautiful menhirs and the remains of a dolmen.

A lovely walk in the Camors State Forest following thePR® (signposted) trails and combining two well-known forest routes: the Circuit de l’Eau and the Circuit de l’Étoile. Almost always in the shade of the trees, it is ideal during hot weather. Enjoy the many small ponds, streams, fountains and standing stones that adorn this beautiful Korrigans Valley!

A pleasant circular walk, featuring two unmarked forest trails. Unless you are a hiker who has already completed the route, the use of a GPS is recommended. This route should be undertaken in calm weather due to the risk of falling trees in the forest. The trail markings on the ground are clear, as the route is used by a variety of walkers. However, given the sometimes narrow width of the paths and the number of junctions encountered, it is advisable to familiarise yourself with the map to help you find your way if necessary.The route was established in 2015. Its route was slightly modified in March 2023 to avoid a dense area of fallen trees, and then in May 2026, near the Gourvineg mill, a bridge over the Condat, which had been weakened by flooding, was removed.

This hike near the town of Saint-Avé allows you to discover a landscape of moors and forests in the first part. In the second part, we follow rivers to discover the old mills. It is very varied, with lots of ups and downs.

To the north-east of Pontivy, the Nantes–Brest Canal, on the River Douric, is fed by a series of ‘ponds’ which are in fact man-made basins designed to maintain a stable water level during lock operations.This route takes you past this succession of locks and ‘ponds’, passing by the Chapelle du Roz.A short, peaceful and tranquil walk along the water’s edge.

La Vraie-Croix comes from the Breton "Lan Groez" (cross of the moor). A lovely walk that allows you to discover the countryside around the very pretty village of La Vraie-Croix.

The village of Sulniac lies hidden behind the first rolling hills that rise a few dozen kilometres inland from the Morbihan coast. These hills form the southern edge of the Landes de Lanvaux. The proposed route winds through a landscape that alternates between cool, damp valleys and dry or wooded moorland. The granite that forms its bedrock is also the source of the rich architectural heritage found here.

This delightful route between Auray and Brech will take you to the Saint-Degan Ecomuseum, Saint-Guérin Chapel with its 17th-century classical altarpiece and miraculous fountain, and Kerfroud Bridge, a remnant of the Gallo-Roman era. Follow an old Chouan trail to reach the Tréauray valley and the Loc'h river, then, after passing the Saint-Degan conservation orchard, return to the Ecomuseum

A circular loop in the Pont-Sal woods with a return trip to the Rochers du Cerf site in the commune of Plougoumelen. Forest, valley, river and countryside scenery. Includes a botanical trail. Suitable for all seasons.

This is a pleasant and varied walk which, from Pont-Sal, follows the left bank of the Sal estuary, passing in front of the Pont-Sal mill via a recent footpath (created in 2017). It continues along the Bono river to the Kervilio mill. The return journey takes you past the Becquerel Chapel and the village of Plougoumelen to Pont-Sal via a series of paths typical of the Breton bocage. You'll want to come back again.

The Arz valley lies at the bottom of one of the geological folds of the South-Armorican Fold System. Dominated by the Landes de Lanvaux to the north and the plateau overlooking the Gulf of Morbihan to the south, it features a beautiful hollow relief that will delight rollercoaster enthusiasts. The gradients are far from negligible, and whilst the terrain isn’t particularly high, the route’s profile alternates between gentle slopes where you can coast along and challenging, leg-breaking climbs. And all this amidst beautiful, wooded countryside dotted with lively towns and villages.

The rivers of Auray (Loc'h) and Sal (Bono) enjoy a preserved environment and a varied heritage: the Sainte-Avoye chapel and its rood screen, the boat cemetery and the old Bono bridge.

This hike takes us along the banks of the Loch, past the charterhouse, the Reclus valley, the Cadoudal mausoleum and the Saint-Cado du Reclus Chapel. It can be done on foot or by running.

A pleasant walk through the town of Auray. This route will take you through the Saint-Gildas and Saint-Goustan districts, the port and the medieval bridge. You will walk along the Auray River (Loc'h), and from the castle, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the old town.
