Short circuit around the Sédon

Park near the Guéhenno cemetery.

(S/E) Take the road opposite, heading south, to reach the village of Le Mont and its chapel.

(1) Cross the village and, at the exit, join a crossroads.

(2) Take it on the right, walk between the fields, pass under a power line, then arrive at the edge of the Ruisseau du Sédon. Follow its bank on the right until you reach the D165 road.

(3) Turn left, cross the stream, then leave the road on the left and follow the right bank until you reach a T-junction.

(4) Turn right at a 90° angle, then leave the woods and continue between the fields until you reach the village of Mené Courtel.

(5) Take the wide track opposite and follow it, passing under the power line. At the crossroads, turn right, then left onto the D160 to reach a bridge over the Sédon.

(6) Cross the bridge, then turn immediately left, pass the hamlet of Le Pomin and continue to a new T-junction.

(7) Turn right onto the track, pass a cluster of houses, then return to the crossroads at the exit of the village of Mont.

(2) From here, retrace your steps to return to the car park at Gueheno cemetery (S/E).

Between (6) and (7): you can take another path on the left of the main path, marked on the map, to go down to the water's edge, where there is a small bench for resting.
