Park in the sports hall car park.
(S/E) Go down Rue Yves Le Thieis, which turns left before its terminus. At the junction with the Locqueltas road (RD181), turn right and follow it to a place called Kerbaron.
(1) Just before a building on the left, take the sunken lane that leads to the Saint-Jean-Brevelay road (D1). Follow it to the right and a little further on, turn left onto the old closed road used as a storage area for municipal materials. Follow it until you return to the edge of the D1.
(2) Continue along a path through a wooded area, ignore the access road to Kerimard farm and turn left onto the path until you reach a place called Le Resto.
(3) After the football pitches, turn right onto the asphalt road. Keep left and head towards Le Roc on the left.
(4) Follow the marked path through the Domaine de Kerguéhennec, cross the two small bridges over the Claie stream and walk along the pond until you reach a bridge, where you turn right down into a small valley.
(5) As you walk, you will pass two works of art on your right: a small bridge from which you can see the stream and a huge cage.
Follow the path that climbs up to the left, at the bottom of the valley.
(6) Do not go towards the five cast iron columns, but turn right, following the yellow markings.
Caution: Do not enter the field, but take the path along the edge of the woods. Leave the woods on your right. This will bring you to the Trinity Chapel on your left.
(7) Continue straight ahead, passing a large house on your left, walk along the fields and, at the end of the road, turn left to reach one of the entrances to the park with the experimental farm. Walk down the tree-lined avenue on the right to reach the castle. Walk past the outbuildings, where you can take a break at the café or visit the exhibitions if you have time, but remember you still have a few kilometres to go!
(8) After the château, do not take the meadow where the large sculptures are located, but follow the path marked in yellow that climbs between the redwoods.
(9) At the end of this path, leave the estate by crossing the Guéhenno road (D123) and continue to the left, following the yellow markings in the woods. You will arrive at the car park at one of the park entrances.
(10) The path runs alongside the Kériolas stream.
(11) Cross the Saint-Allouestre road (D150), follow it to the left for about a hundred metres, then turn right onto a path towards the hamlet of Kerfraval. Turn left at the hamlet (watch out for farm dogs). Do not cross the fields, but follow the path that leads back to the stream on your right. After crossing a wood, you will arrive at the old football pitches. Go around them on the right.
(12) Reach the village of Bignan by going up the Moréac road (D181).
(13) Take a path on the right, between two houses, just after the football pitches. Continue uphill, take the street on the left, then turn into the alley behind the town hall. This is the Latin Quarter of Bignan! Return to the car park after crossing Rue de l'Industrie (S/E).
