Roh-Du Route

(S/E) Follow the Chemin de la Cité. On the Ruelle des Pins, turn right then cross the Rue du Stade. Head towards a field leading to a woodland and reach the road via the steps.

(1) After walking along the road for 130 metres on the left, turn right to enter the woodland and follow the Tarun stream. Take the farm field and the farm track back to the road.

(2) Take the road on the right. After walking a short distance, you’ll come back to the Tarun stream and reach a field. Then turn right and follow the stream on the left to reach the road.

(3) Continue to the left, then take the path on your left leading to the Goyerdon valley. After walking 300 metres along the road, you’ll reach the Goyerdon car park on your left. Then take the Goyerdon route and enjoy this lush green setting amongst rocky outcrops and remarkable trees. At the end of the path, cross the road.

(4) Cross the road. After the forest, follow the road for 180 metres before turning left into the ONF forest, which leads you to the Roh Du dolmens. You’ll come to a track.

(5) Turn right and head towards the Roh Du.

(6) Carry on towards the entrance to the water board’s land, then take the road on the right and return to the water board’s land by turning left. Enter the field before reaching the woodland and returning to the road. Then keep to the right before continuing to the left. Head on to reach Clozo Bihan.

(7) Keep to the left before taking the path on the right towards Kerblouz.

(8) Turn left and go past the hedge. After following the road for over 1 km, you’ll reach the Tarun valley, following a farm track on the right. To finish your route, take the road on the right.

(1) Take the steps back up and return to the town hall (S/E).

- Notre-Dame de la Fosse Fountain:

Built in the 16th century, this granite fountain is distinguished by its small columns, a raised pediment and finely carved stones, bearing witness to ancient craftsmanship often reserved for sacred monuments. Standing approximately three metres high, it features a simple yet elegant design, incorporating a statue of the Virgin Mary in a niche sheltered beneath an archway.

- Floranges Forest

The nearby Floranges State Forest was acquired by Louis XVI in 1785 to supply the Lorient arsenals with shipbuilding timber. It became state property during the Revolution. Now designated a ZNIEFF (Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest), it is home to a wealth of flora and fauna, including endemic species such as the Quimper snail, the ermine and the marbled newt.

- The Goyerdon

The Goyerdon, meanwhile, is a crystal-clear stream, a haven for trout and salmon, and a veritable treasure trove of biodiversity to be explored at a leisurely pace.

- The Roh-Du dolmen

The Roh-Du dolmen, datingfrom^{the 4th} millennium BC, is listed as a historic monument. This passage grave, whose burial mound is still faintly visible, was built at the end of the Neolithic period. Nearby lies another ancient monument, the capstone of which is missing.
