GR®465 Entraygues sur Truyère - GR®65 Espeyrac
Connection between Entraygues-sur-Truyère and Espeyrac via the historic Queen Margot trail. Breathtaking views of the Fel hills Regional Nature Reserve and the Lot valley, then the Dazes valley. Espeyrac is the last stop before Conques on the Way of St James via the GR®65 long-distance footpath.
Golinhac - Conques-en-Rouergues
The twenty-fourth stage of the Way of St James. On this stage, you leave the Golinhac plateau, which offers mid-mountain landscapes, and after passing through several villages nestled in a lush green setting, you cross Senergues, an ancient village perched on a granite spur, and continue along a path dotted with remarkable buildings and sumptuous landscapes before arriving at Conques-en-Rouergues and its abbey church steeped in history.
Between valleys and hills, starting from Espeyrac
Espeyrac is a stop on the Way of St James. A picturesque granite village with slate roofs, in unspoilt natural surroundings, surrounded by ancient chestnut groves. You will find refreshments, a grocery store, lodges and an inn.
From Massip to Sénergues via the Way of St James
A beautiful short stage combining roads and paths. Moderate difficulty in terms of distance and elevation. Very good signposting with red and white GR®65 markings. Take advantage of the village crossings to visit the churches and fill up your water bottles at the fountains.
Bez Bédène - Jean Front’s Mountain
A very pleasant walk through the woodland, exploring a magnificent wilderness, around the edge of the peninsula, the Selves Gorges and the Calvary, from where you can admire the surrounding countryside and the beautiful wilderness of Bez-Bédène.
On the heights of Saint-Bauzels
Near Conques, there is an easy circular with beautiful views of the Aveyron countryside. It straddles three municipalities: Espeyrac, Saint-Félix-de-Lunel and Sénergues.
From Senergues to Conques via the GR®65
From the pretty village of Senergues to another very beautiful village, Conques. The route alternates between roads and paths through the woods. The arrival in Conques is via a long descent that is quite steep in places. The views are magnificent. The path is always marked in white and red by the GR®65.
As this hike does not return to the starting point, you will need to leave a vehicle in Conques.
The Chemin de Bouldoires
In the heart of a rich agricultural region (La Viadène) with mountainous accents, this granite plateau offers contrasting landscapes and a rich traditional heritage.
Fombillou Legends Trail
When Nayrac was still just a Roman farm, a Gallo-Roman named Bilius owned a fountain and gave it his name: Fond-Bilius, known today as Fombillou. This story is only the beginning of the legend. Walking along this hiking trail is like stepping back in time... and remembering the myths and legends of yesteryear. Trail closed during hunting season.
The flower-filled village of Nayrac
A very pleasant walk to enjoy in fine weather, taking in a charming village full of flowers and a lovely wooded countryside where the heritage is still well preserved.
The Campuac Plateau
Set amidst lush, green farmland (cereals and livestock) dotted with hedgerows, this route offers a fascinating insight into the region’s traditional architectural heritage.
Chemin des Vignes from Crussac
Come and discover the panoramic views of the Lot valley from these former vineyards. This immersive walk through the countryside offers some beautiful views. In this wild area, you will encounter the stories and legends of the region. At the Gachou waterfalls, you can enjoy a moment of refreshment and relaxation.

The Tour du Combayre
A discovery route around the medieval town of Estaing and its rich architectural and natural heritage (church, castle, vineyard, Coussane valley).
From Estaing to Massip on the Way of St James
This is a stage of the Way of St James starting from the pretty village of Estaing. I recommend visiting this magnificent village and its castle. You can also enjoy a drink by the Lot river. A plaque in memory of President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing can be found at the entrance to the village. This stage is moderately difficult with a lot of road and some elevation gain, so bring something to drink and protection from the sun.
