Short hike combining the two "Nature Walks" in Béruges offered by the Greater Poitiers Urban Community.

This is a fun little hike to discover Poitiers through its monuments. The duration and distance of your route will vary depending on how curious you are. Feel free to leave the initial route temporarily to explore a monument and then resume your walk. If you are curious, the walk can be much longer. Note that a bus line (2A or 2B) will take you back to your starting point and destination.

This urban route offers an unusual way to discover Poitiers through its ancient streets and hillside neighbourhoods. It allows you to admire Saint-Pierre Cathedral, Notre-Dame-la-Grande and Saint-Jean Baptistery, while offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. The route includes stairs and steep streets, requiring a good level of fitness.

A hike around the Benedictine Abbey of Sainte-Croix, exploring nature between the Miosson stream and the Fontarnaud woods. An easy route along dirt tracks, marked trails and short sections of paved local roads. Passes close to the Fontaine de Flée fountain.

An outing to the site of the Battle of Nouaillé-Maupertuis, which in 1356 saw the defeat of John II, King of France, by the English forces led by the Prince of Wales, known as the Black Prince.

This hike is a shorter version of the one offered by the Deux Sèvres hiking website, which has the same name. You will follow small roads and country lanes near the Ruisseau du Magot Natura 2000 site.

For the second year running, the International Ornithological Film Festival is hosting an outdoor exhibition along the paths around the village of Ménigoute. Set off to explore the small sunken paths that surround the village. Fifty photos are spread over a 2.9 km route through the bocage. Pollarded trees, streams, meadows and hedges will surround you along the way. Follow the arrows! Be sure to wear suitable footwear and clothing.

Ménigoute has become famous worldwide thanks to FIFO, the ornithological film festival, the38th edition of which took place in late October/early November 2022. The hike (inspired by a hike posted on the Saint-Martin Loisirs association website) follows theGR®®364trail along steep, sometimes narrow paths. You have to use the road, first the D21 (for 900 m) and then the D58 (for 600 m), where you should take care.

A short hike near Ménigoute, with beautiful monuments such as the Gothic Boucard Chapel and the Château de Montifault, which also offers beautiful landscapes thanks in particular to the chirons (the local name for granite boulders).
