Two types of landscape for this hike:Jagged rocks and coves from Pornic to Pointe Saint Gildas,Flat rocks with water holes, then the sandy beach from Saint Gildas to Tharon.The journey from Tharon beach to Pornic is by bus. For experienced walkers, the hike can be completed in one day. It can also be split into two days, with an overnight stay at the hotel at Pointe Saint Gildas.

This hike is recommended when the paths are too muddy. This route goes around Thoiry Wildlife Park. It mainly follows quiet, small tarmac roads, for seasons when the paths are almost impassable.

A lovely little circular walk along the Seine, between Le Pecq and Bougival.

This circuit consists almost exclusively of paved forest roads, at least in part, and is closed to motor traffic. This allows you to hike in the forest without having to surf on paths full of water and mud in winter.

The route follows the Eure Valley greenway on the way there and runs alongside the Eure on the way back. As well as being bucolic, this route is entirely free of mud.

An easy route that follows the Canal de la Garonne along tarmac cycle paths.This route can also be done on foot.

This is a very varied walk that will take you close to the racecourse (even better on a race day), through the hamlet of Les Lombardières with its old fishermen's and sailors' houses, then through the charming village of Savennières and its vineyards perched on the hillsides, and finally to Béhuard, a very pretty little village with its small church clinging to the rock. Some sections are the same on the way there and back, but this is necessary due to the river crossings and the railway line.

Starting from the charming village of Brueil en Vexin, you will pass La Cave aux Fées, a Neolithic burial site dating from around 2000 BCE. Then, through a varied, hilly landscape, you will discover a few hamlets and a village with its wash house and old bridge.

This extremely varied hike will clear your head, open up superb landscapes and tone your calves. From the beautiful Norman village of Les Andelys, you set off for the mountains. At least, that's the impression you get as you walk along the side of the rock on a narrow mule track with spectacular views of the limestone rocks and the Seine. On the way back, you follow the banks of the Seine, gently returning to solid ground.

It's also a great way to learn interesting facts about the vineyard thanks to the information boards dotted along part of the route. This varied and very hilly route is dotted with wash houses. There are numerous springs around Guerville. Here and there, the route offers beautiful views.

This hike offers stunning views of the rocks sculpted by the sea over the centuries. You can imagine Napoleon, Mayan masks, dolphins... You'll shiver at the edge of the Castel Meur chasm. Let yourself be carried away by these sublime landscapes.

This bucolic hike allows you to admire the Loire up close. The wide paths are well suited to group hikes.

At the start, you can admire the waterside campsite, the ferry, the open-air café and the pleasure boats moored at the various jetties. We then set off into the rolling countryside of the Mayenne valley until we return to the river at the Sautré lock. We then finish with a lovely, idyllic walk along the Mayenne, during which we discover the site of La Roussière with its lock and its semi-industrial past as a flour mill.

Here is a hike that climbs up to the Mont-Saint-Amand wayside shrine. This route offers spectacular views of the Dentelles de Montmirail and a 360° panorama of all the surrounding mountain ranges. The final section of the route follows a narrow, rather steep path, but the effort is rewarded with a ‘wow’ factor on arrival.

In Montjean-sur-Loire, the path that winds through the Châteaupanne Sensitive Natural Area takes you back in time. The path goes deep into the woods, runs along the banks of the Loire or follows old stone walls. Further on, you climb a coral reef, now a limestone quarry, where the sea was 400 million years ago. Further on, a strange fortress takes you back to the era of the lime burners.
