Park on Quai Georges Clemenceau if possible: parking spaces are free there. Otherwise, Rue Yvan Tourgueniev a little further on has paid parking spaces.
(S/E) Walk along the D113 towards Nanterre, staying on the left-hand pavement (on the Seine side). Quickly leave the D113 by turning left onto the towpath that leads to the banks of the Seine. Walk along the Seine for about 3km, pass under the railway bridge and continue to the foot of the Pont de Chatou.
(1) Then turn right onto Rue des Martinets and immediately left onto the ramp leading up to the bridge. Turn left and cross the bridge to the middle. Then descend to the left onto Île des Impressionnistes.
(2) Walk along the Seine with it on your left. Pass under the railway bridge again and continue along the Seine. Enter the leisure park and walk around it to return to the Mail des Impressionnistes (and the car park).
(3) Climb the stairs to access the railway bridge. Turn left to cross the branch of the Seine on the pedestrian crossing next to the railway line (there is a protective barrier between the two). On the other side of the bridge, just before the RER station, go down to the left to reach Avenue des Tilleuls. Cross the avenue and go down the stairs to Quai Maxime Laubeuf.
(4) At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and walk along the Seine on your left. Continue until you reach the next bridge (Pont de Lattre de Tassigny).
(5) Just before the bridge, turn right, just after a sort of mini amphitheatre, onto the path that crosses the residence's grounds. Follow this path to the roundabout. There, turn left onto Rue des Ponts to cross the two arms of the Seine. Find a ramp on the left reserved for pedestrians, which allows you to descend to the D113. Continue along the road to return to the starting point (S/E).
