Departure from Thun-le-Paradis station (Transilien line J, on the section between Paris-Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Conflans-Sainte-Honorine).
(S) When you leave the station, go up the stairs opposite and follow Rue du Chemin Vert. At the end, turn right, cross the street and continue along Rue de la Ferme du Paradis. Then turn left onto Allée des Cottages. At the end, turn right onto Allée des Marguerites. At the end, turn left and, after about 30 metres, turn right onto Impasse des Réservoirs, which runs alongside the cemetery. At the end, turn left onto Rue des Carriers.
(1) Cross this street and follow it to the right. After a few metres, turn left onto Rue de l'Ormeteau. Then turn right onto Rue de Pontoise. At the roundabout, take Rue du Clos Villiers, then go straight ahead through a narrow passage to reach the D922. This is protected by a high fence. Follow it for 50 metres to reach a tunnel that allows you to pass under the D922, then take the flight of steps.
(2) Before the right-hand bend, take the road on the left towards Tessancourt. At the fork, turn right onto Route de Meulan (or the old Route de Meulan). You will come to a junction with Rue du Pré aux Loups coming from the left.
(3) Then follow theGR®1-GR®2which climbs up to your right (red and white markings). Stay on the marked path heading south-east.
(4) Cross the D922 and continue straight ahead on theGR®. Pass by the Évecquemont church and continue on Rue d'Adhémar. At the exit of Evecquemont, do not take the road that goes downhill. Stay on the hill towards Fort Vache via Rue des Bouillons and then Chemin des Bois Bouillons.
(5) Cross the road and continue towards the Siremballage factories. After about 150 metres, turn right down Rue du Plan de Fort Vache.
(6) Cross the D17 and continue down Chemin des Fortes Terres. At the end, turn right onto Chemin des Plâtrières and then, at the bottom of the stairs, turn left onto Rue Auguste Dolnet (no street sign...). At the fork, follow Chemin des Hulins to the right. Continue left along Chemin des Rois. Then turn sharply right onto Rue du Temple and arrive at the foot of the railway viaduct.
(7) Do not go under the viaduct, but turn left to walk alongside it and climb the hill via Rue du Bel Air. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. When a path comes from the left, turn right.
(8) At one point, a path appears on your left, while on your right you can see a building: just after the telecoms pylon, take the path on the left. Then take the first path on the right and continue to a place called Les Beauregards.
(9) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue des Bois. Walk along the cemetery and then turn left onto Place des Marronniers.
(10) At the end, turn right onto Rue de l'Hautil and leave theGR®. At the fork, take Rue Gallieni on the left. Follow this street to the footbridge that leads to Triel-sur-Seine station (E).
