Park at Place de l'Église in Rochefort-sur-Loire.
Take the Anjoubus no. 23 coach towards Saint-Florent-le-Vieil. There are few departures. Check the timetable carefully (see the link to the website in the "practical information" section).
Get off the bus at Chalonnes-sur-Loire, at the town hall.
(S/E) Take Rue Fleury, then Rue du Vieux Pont on the right.
Turn left onto Rue de la Babinerie, towards the Loire. Turn right, following the Loire.
(1) At the roundabout, cross the bridge over the Layon.
Leave the D751 road to Rochefort on your left and head towards the road that goes uphill, called "Montée de Pierre Couts".

(2) Follow these well-marked signs and the route is almost straight
to Rochefort-sur-Loire.
However, you will find a few landmarks below to help you.
Follow the "Montée de Pierre Couts" and the tarmac road that continues until it passes over the railway line.
(3) Then pass a place called La Dauphineté. From there, walk along the right-hand side of a poplar plantation. A path leads off to the left towards the end of the poplar plantation.
(4) Go around the top of the La Volerie buildings. Climb up towards Les Moulins d'Ardenay, which you go around by turning left and then right through the vineyards.
(5) Cross the village of Ardenay and continue until you reach the D751, which you cross.
(6) Immediately afterwards, take the small road on the right that runs alongside the D751. Continue until you reach a cross on the edge of the D54.
(7) Turn left before the cross, then right through the vineyards about 400 metres from the cross.
(8) Cross the D54 and turn left about 100 metres further on.
Continue to Moulin Guérin, of which only the lower part remains.
(9) Continue by turning left twice, then right.
Cross La Thébauderie, then the D54 again.
(10) After 200 metres, turn right, then left after another 200 metres.
Then turn left at L'Éperonnière.
Continue straight on until you reach the D106 at the entrance to Rochefort.
(11) Turn left to reach the Place de l'Église, the finish point (E).
