This is a lovely walk in a little-known area, the Ardre Valley. The walk takes you over hills and through valleys, across Champagne vineyards, fields and forests. It starts at the beautiful Saint-Lié Chapel in Ville-Dommange.
Circular Crugny to Saint-Gilles via Courville
An easy walk, following part ofthe GR®142 trailand the former platform of the Reims Suburban Railway (CBR).
Prouilly circular route via Montigny-sur-Vesle and Pévy
This circular route will take you from the Prouilly war memorial to the church in Montigny-sur-Vesle, then to the church in Pévy, through fields and vineyards with beautiful views of the hills.
Stele in the Bois de Courton from Nanteuil-la-Forêt
This short hike in the woods will be of interest to First World War enthusiasts as it passes by the memorial stone honouring the soldiers ofthe 35th Infantry Regiment who fell between 17 July and 3 August 1918 in the Bois de Courton.
Please respect the area, as the woods are probably private property. Avoid during hunting season.
Bel Air Circular Route
This hike, which partly follows the circular Bel-Air Loop, will take you to Mont Die, where you’ll enjoy a lovely panoramic view of the Montagne de Reims.
Between vineyards and woods: panoramic views of Reims and the Vesle
Between vineyards and woods: you will walk around Trigny, a village in the "Petite Montagne de Reims".
This route also offers sweeping views of the Vesle valley. To the south, you can see Coulommes-la-Montagne. To the south-east: Reims and even Verzenay!

Circular loop at Paradis in the Montagne de Reims
With wide, well-graveled paths, forest glades, woods, fields, vineyards and a beautiful valley, this offers a varied and comprehensive selection for a lovely walk in the Montagne de Reims.
A balcony overlooking the Vesle
A varied route, mapped out by the Marne Tourist Board, takes you through a forest, sand pits, vineyards, fields and two villages. From a balcony offering views of the Vesle valley, you will pass the forts of Saint-Thierry and Chenay. These were built after the 1870 war to protect Reims.

The 35th Infantry Regiment memorial and the Belval polisher
This short hike takes you to see the Neolithic polisher at Belval and the memorial to the soldiers of the 35th Infantry Regiment who fell between 17 July and 3 August 1918 in the Bois de Courton.
It passes through many woods, vineyards and pastures. It has little elevation gain and presents no difficulties, except for muddy conditions in wet weather.
You will find it very peaceful. Avoid on hunting days.
