Departure from the bakery near the Prouilly war memorial.
(S/E) Take Grande Rue, pass in front of the town hall, then turn right onto Rue Haute du Petit Moulin and cross the bridge.
(1) After the bridge, turn left following the signs. At the four-way crossroads, turn left at the first and second junctions and continue straight ahead. Join a small road in a bend and follow it to the left.
(2) When you reach the small memorial, leave it on your left, continue straight ahead on the road, then leave the signposts by taking the third path on the right. Stay on this path until you reach a T-junction.
(3) Turn left to rejoin the marked trail, turning right before the Naurois farm and heading towards the woods. Stay on this path until you reach the cemetery at the entrance to the village of Montigny-sur-Vesle. Please note that several marked trails intersect in the woods.
(4) After the cemetery, turn right onto Rue de Jonchery, then left onto Rue du Levant. Turn right onto Rue de l'Église. Pass in front of the church and turn right onto Rue de Pévy.
(5) At the three-way junction, turn left onto Chemin de Pévy, then leave it at the bend and follow the grassy path opposite. Stay on this path heading north-east, along fields, then enter a wooded area.
(6) Shortly afterwards, turn right onto a beautiful path between the fields, leading to the highest point of the walk. At the end of this path, turn left until you reach the road.
(7) Take the road to the right. After about a quarter of a turn, leave the road and take the path on the left. Follow it between vineyards and fields until you reach a crossroads of four grassy paths. Continue to the right down a steep slope and, once at the bottom, turn right.
(8) At the fork, turn left onto Rue de Bouvancourt, pass a first wash house and continue along Rue de la Grande Fontaine. At the end, turn right, then left onto Rue de la Porte Goliva.
(9) Turn left onto a path that is not very visible and may cause you to hesitate. Follow it, then turn right until you reach a second wash house.
(10) At the wash house, follow the road to the left, then quickly leave it to take another path on the right (visible markings). At the Y-junction, turn right. At the end, turn left and continue straight ahead to the bridge.
(1) Back on the bridge, turn left after it to take a wide path, then take the second path on the right to return to the starting point (S/E).
