The starting point is located in the car park of Crugny station (former CBR station, now private accommodation).
(S) Leaving the former Crugny station building behind you, take Rue de la Ville on the left.
Cross the Ardre river and at the end of the street, turn right onto Rue Haute (you are now on theGR®142, marked in red and white). Then take the first right onto Route d'Arcis-le-Ponsart. Follow this small tarmac road for about 450 metres.
(1) At the fork, leave theGR® trail on your right and turn left. At the next fork, turn right.
(2) Take the path that continues straight ahead from the road and winds through the fields (general north-westerly direction).
(3) Join theGR®142and enter the village of Courville via Rue de Bury. Continue straight on along Rue d'Arcis-le-Ponsart. At the next crossroads, continue straight on to see the village church: Rue de la Flèche, then left onto Rue de l'Église and right at the end of the street.
(4) Leave the village by taking a path on the right just in front of the cemetery (you are now on theGR®142). Walk across the fields, continuing in a north-westerly direction.
(5) When you reach a road, continue straight ahead along Rue de Chatillon and enter Saint-Gilles. At the end of the street, turn right towards Rue de Fismes. About 50 metres after crossing the Ardre bridge, take the path on the right along the edge of the forest and field. Continue along the path, roughly parallel to the river, until you reach Courville.
(6) Enter Courville via Chemin de la Gare (former CBR railway line). Continue straight ahead on the CBR path, leaving Courville behind and heading down towards Crugny.
(7) The path continues towards Crugny via Chemin du Vieux Clou, where you return to the starting point via Rue du Couvent.
