Saint-Jean-de-Bournay walks

We mainly take small peaceful tarmacked country lanes, which means you can enjoy a walking excursion even after heavy rainfall and when the paths are almost impassable.

You climb the hillside of La Côte Saint-André (ND de Sciez) from where you have a remarkable view: from the Monts du Pilat in the west to the Mont du Chat in the north-east, passing through the Vercors, Belledonne and Chartreuse. This is a nice walk which mostly consists of walking around the town through beautiful forests and fields. This route is a nice alternative to avoid any slippery and muddy parts when it has rained a lot. It also passes through a historical cemetery and church where you can stop for a lunch break.
