Park in the shaded car park of the small chapel in Mépin in the centre of the village opposite the town hall.

(S/E) Take the tarmac road eastwards towards "Crêt Moussey". Walk past the chapel (on your left), then the castle wall (on your right) and continue to the end.
(1) On the right, leave the small road that runs along the wall and take Impasse du Suet for about 150 metres. Take the small path on the left (do not go up along the surrounding wall). The path climbs into the forest.
Leave the path that branches off to the right. Continue climbing through the woods until you reach the top at a crossroads with several paths.
(2) Take the path on the right, still in the forest, towards "Les Moilles Nord". At the next crossroads, ignore the path that branches off to the left and continue to the right. Continue to the crossroads at the water tower (on your left).
(3) Continue straight ahead, ignoring the path that descends to the right towards Combe du Suet. You will soon reach a small tarmac road. Follow it to a crossroads at a place called Maison Veyron. There are beautiful views to the right over the Saint-Jean plain and the villages of Beauvoir de Marc and Savas.
At the crossroads, turn left. Walk past the pumping station (on your left) and continue to a T-junction.
(4) Turn right onto the RD41b. Be careful, as there may be some traffic. Stay on the left side of the RD and walk alongside the farm on your right for about 150 metres.
After the farm, turn left onto the dirt track that leads into the fields. At the bottom of the descent, you will reach the "Les Moilles Nord" crossroads.
(5) At the crossroads, continue straight on towards "Mépin" until you reach the hamlet of Les Moilles.
At the intersection with a tarmac road, turn left onto this road until you reach Maison Boyet and the crossroads shortly after the bend and the group of houses.
(6) Leave the tarmac road and turn right onto the dirt track across the field. At the left-hand bend, continue straight ahead, leaving the path that continues through the fields on your left. Descend steeply towards Mépin and cross the RD41b ( with caution). Continue for a few dozen metres until you reach the "Route du village". At the stop sign, turn right onto Route du Village. Continue straight ahead and climb back up to your starting point (S/E).
