Park in the car park below the church of Bonnefamille, near the boules court.
(S/E) Walk back up towards the church and take Rue de la Liberté on the left. Continue straight ahead, keeping to the left and passing two streets on the right. At the fork, keep to the right.
(1) Ignore the return path on the right and continue straight ahead, walking alongside a field and passing under power lines.
(2) Shortly afterwards, at the edge of this field, turn left, following the small hedge along the field. Follow the small path that turns left at the end of the hedge, then right along the woods. Follow a path that is often very muddy in wet weather. Continue straight ahead until you reach the D36. Follow the path on the right that runs alongside it until you reach the monument to those shot in 1944.
(3) Take the road on the right, which turns into a path, until you reach the next path on your left. Follow it to an intersection and turn left. Go down this path, making sure to take the path on the right at the next intersection, before arriving at the D36.
(4) Follow this path and, shortly afterwards, take the hairpin bend to the left. This path can be quite muddy depending on the state of the small Turitin stream. Cross it on the right, immediately afterwards, to reach the D126, Route de Turitin.
(5) Cross it to the right, with great caution, and go up about 50 metres, then take the small path on the left that goes up the embankment. Follow this path parallel to the road, then up a steep slope to a water catchment and then onto Route du Réservoir. Go down it to the left until you reach the junction with Chemin de Trable.
(6) Follow it to the right for over 1 km until you reach the next junction at a place called Maison Lassale.
(7) Continue straight ahead along the road (Chemin de la Cesse), then immediately afterwards, leave the tarmac and take the path on the left. Follow this path straight ahead, passing a pylon.
(8) Shortly after this, turn right onto the path towards Roche. Continue straight ahead at the next intersection, returning to the tarmac road. Continue until you reach Roche, then take the Four D124 road. Turn right onto this road and continue until you reach the D126 stop sign.
(9) Cross to the left at the pedestrian crossing and go up the road, then take Rue des Sitelles one-way to the right and you will arrive at a crossroads.
(10) Continue straight ahead on the small footpath along the wooden fence. Continue straight ahead on Rue des Écoles, then at the end, turn left onto Chemin des Bersoudières for just under 100 metres.
(11) Turn right onto the dirt track with a sign saying "no entry except for authorised persons". Go down the track without worrying, cross the Ruisseau le Bivet stream and, at the end, take the path on the right, just behind a fence. Follow it straight ahead, ignoring a path on the left and then on the right. Then turn left when you reach the junction with Chemin des Bachasses.
(12) Immediately afterwards, turn right, leaving this path, and pass under the power lines. Continue through the woods until the next intersection, then take Chemin de Grands Fonds on the right and continue to Route de Bonnefamille D124. Taking great care, follow it to the left for about a hundred metres.
(13) Then take a small path on your right that goes up into the woods. At the next intersection, turn left onto Chemin de la Tour. Pass a path on the right leading to cup-marked stones and another on the left, then continue to the Tour house.
(14) Shortly after this, take the path on the right, then right again shortly afterwards. Then follow the path on the left which goes straight down and joins the path you took on the way there.
(1) Turn left onto the path that leads straight back to the church of Saint-Antoine de Bonnefamille. Turn right after the church to return to the car park (S/E).
