Discovering Bonnemare Castle
A short hike in the Andelle Valley to discover its rich heritage. Two castles, an abbey and the remains of a spinning mill with striking architecture punctuate this route.
Pretty wooded paths, particularly the one that runs along the walls of Bonnemare Castle, and the rolling countryside as you leave Douville-sur-Andelle, add to the charm of this walk.

From Pont Saint-Pierre to the Priory of the Two Lovers
An invigorating hike with remarkable views overlooking the Seine, the Poses-Léry leisure centre and Pont de l'Arche. Pass close to three 17th-century châteaux: the Manoir de Senneville, the Manoir de Canteloup and the Château des Deux Amants, the setting for the legend of Raoul de Bonnemare and Mathilde.
Stroll along the Seine for 1,500 metres. Final stroll along the Andelle and the mills of Romilly-sur-Andelle.
The Lake of the Two Lovers
This route is suitable for all levels as the outward and return journeys follow the same route, so you can turn back at any time!
The starting point is near the Jonquemare pond in Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. Passing through the Longboël forest, you will go through the Parc des Flotteaux, the Guinguette des Écluses, the dam and the Lac des Deux Amants.
The little paths of La Neuville
Starting from the Clos Démont housing estate, this 9 km hike will take you along various paths in La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. You can take a break at the pond on Rue Saint-Autin, in the Lotissement des Beaux Repaires park, or on the Promenade du Clos Démont. Along the way, you will also see the Château Jacques Anquetil. You can shorten this route at any time by taking Rue des Andelys towards the town hall.

This walk begins by crossing the Seine via a footbridge that passes over the locks and the Poses dam. It then goes around the Lac des Deux Amants and the Lac du Mesnil, where numerous birds, including waterfowl, add to the charm of these lakeside landscapes. Finally, the return to the banks of the Seine takes you past splendid houses built from local stone and faces the chalk cliffs.

Around the Fouillebroc
This walk begins with a visit to the 11th-century church of Touffreville, situated on the edge of the forest. The route then follows the Fouillebroc stream, which you will cross several times.The paths through the Lyons Forest lead to the stream’s source and to the Fontaine de Sainte-Catherine; the route then overlooks Mortemer Abbey and reaches the village of Lisors, where the church stands opposite a chapel in front of a pretty pond fed by the Fouillebroc.

From the Lyons Forest to the Andelle
After admiring Vascœuil Castle and its dovecote, the path will take you into the Lyons National Forest with some noticeable changes in elevation before descending to the village of Les Hogues via the Saint-Mathurin spring.
The return journey via Perruel follows the Andelle river, offering peaceful landscapes.
Around Connelles
Take a stroll through this village on the banks of the Seine, where a few curiosities await you: its church and its 15th-century mill, of which only the pillars date back to that period. This village is unique in that it has unusual dwellings known as troglodytes. Its hillsides overlooking the Seine are crossed by theGR® 2 hiking trail and are listed in the Natura 2000 programme and classified as an Important Bird Area (IBA).

This walk offers a variety of landscapes from the Seine-Eure region. The banks of the Eure, old villages and the modern town of Val-de-Reuil. Near the Bord-Louviers National Forest, you’ll follow forest paths through 4,500 hectares of deciduous and coniferous woodland. The starting point is at Val-de-Reuil station (Paris–Rouen–Le Havre line). Ideal for walkers without a car.
