Perpezac-le-Noir walks

A beautiful hike on quiet paths and roads. The hike is very well marked in yellow from the church in Perpezac-le-Noir.

A pleasant route that takes us through mixed deciduous forests and leads us to the banks of the Etang de la Poule.

A beautiful, mostly shaded hike from the Estivaux plateau to the Vézère. Much of the hike is on paths, including theGR®46. Some sections are not marked. The hike offers views of Comborn Castle above the Vézère.

This hike will take you to the ruins of two old mills dating from the 18th century, built on the Brezou stream. You can see old millstones, dykes, a supply channel and the ruins of the Moulin de la Forêt building with the water inlets under the mill.

A route starting from Sadroc, mainly following quiet country lanes. A very sunny route.

Hike in the Vézère gorges starting from Vigeois, a charming little village where you can see a magnificent 11th-century abbey church, destroyed and rebuilt in 1489 after the Hundred Years' War. On this route, you will pass the old hospital (1840), cross the old bridge (12th century, known as the Pont des Anglais) and walk around half-timbered houses. A little further on, you will find an old carding mill.

A short walk near Chanteix where you can admire a pretty waterfall and its stream, the Maumont Blanc. An ideal spot for a picnic at the end of the walk. The hike is easy, with only 400 metres of road.

A lovely walk that combines the pleasure of walking with a sense of remembrance. You will follow in the footsteps of those very young resistance fighters who stood up to the Nazi occupation and gave their lives for our freedom. Impossible to cross the path, which is closed by municipal order.This lovely walk will take you to discover La Chartreuse du Glandier, founded in 1219, known at the time as "Notre-Dame du Glandier", destroyed during the Revolution of 1789 and rebuilt to its present state by the Carthusian Fathers in 1869.You will also discover the Étang de La Rechèze, built in 1457 to serve as a reservoir feeding the Canal des Moines (1457).Today it is a care home for people with intellectual disabilities.

A lovely route that takes you from the Saillant Chapel to the Chartroulle Chapel, discovering one of the rare vineyards in Corrèze, on the slopes of the Vézère in the commune of Allassac. A few steep slopes and paths that can be muddy in the rainy season, but a beautiful panorama.

This lovely little walk will allow you to explore the banks of the river: the Vézère. Downstream from the town of Uzerche. An old saying goes:“He who has a house in Uzerche has a castle in Limousin”.

A very beautiful walk, well signposted in yellow, passing close to the Vézère and over the castle mound of Château L'Abbaye. The Maison du Loup is a shelter, incorrectly named a ‘dolmen’, which was used to watch over the ford across the Vézère on the precious metals route.

The route first climbs towards Puy Chammard on a quiet road with clear views of Uzerche. After that, it mainly follows paths to make a large circular route around Espartignac, crossing the Troh stream several times. This part offers clear views towards Les Monédières.
