Parking at Place du Marronnier in Troche (church).
(S/E) Turn left as you leave the car park, towards Pompadour - Lubersac.
(1) At the three-way junction, turn right towards La Grillère – Tréfouilliras, and continue for 400m.
(2) At La Grillère, head up to the right after the farm and take a path that descends to the left. Follow it straight on, passing a private pond on the right.
(3) Cross the stream and continue down the path, which is no longer suitable for vehicles.
(4) When you reach the road, turn left and, 100m further on, turn right onto the road leading to the Mas. At the next junction, turn left, pass the Geneytout, then turn onto the path on the right which descends under the trees. Follow it to the next junction.
(5) At the junction, turn right into the woods and follow this path straight on until you reach the road, which you should follow to the left for about a hundred metres.
(6) Take the first path on the right which climbs between the meadows. Follow the path down towards the Pont des Farges and then climb back up towards Les Farges.
(7) When you reach the road in the village, turn right, ignore the first right and continue to the junction. Turn onto the road on the right and follow it for 1.5 km. Pass Meyvialle and La Mégie.
(8) Take a path that veers off to the right at the edge of the forest to reach the Chanterane bridge.
(9) Gavassou stream. Walk back up to the road.
(10) At the road, turn right and continue along this road until you return to the village of Troche via Les Combes and Lescurat. Head to the square in front of the church (S/E).
