From Falmagne to Furfooz
On the border between the Condroz and the Famenne, Falmagne is located on a plateau overlooking the Lesse. Discover the Aiguilles de Chaleux and Walzin Castle via the Furfooz Park.

Hermitage and Resteigne Castle
A walk starting from Tellin to discover the villages of Resteigne and Belvaux via the La Lesse valley and the Bois de Niau (woodland) where a hermit lived. There are still ruins of the hermitage of this former officer of Napoleon and heir to the Château de Resteigne (castle). On the way go past the Rocher à Pic viewpoint, the Belvaux chapel, the Hermitage, the Mill, the Castle and the old Resteigne quarry.

Around Lissoir
A hike with a slight elevation gain, mostly on passable paths. The route is perfectly feasible with children, but not with pushchairs.
Only the first 800 metres are on the road, after which there are only paths reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and possibly horse riders.
Han-sur-Lesse geological walk
UNESCO created the Geopark label to promote geological heritage. On this walk, you will discover part of Belgium's first Geopark, Famenne-Ardenne. On the agenda: caves, clay pits and resurgences.
Along the Our
This beautiful hike will take you into the heart of the Ardennes forest to explore the whole of Our, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, following the course of the river of the same name and tributary of the Lesse. Discover undergrowth made up of rocky outcrops, scree slopes and streams running alongside or crossing the paths.
Long circular loop of the Lesse ladders
Starting from Gendron-Celles station, this is a beautiful hike, mostly along the water's edge, mainly on paths and trails, with a few sections on roads when crossing villages.
On the first part, mainly between points (3) and (4), ladders and steps allow you to stay as close as possible to the Lesse, and the second part, between points (4) and (10), offers a different way to discover the Lesse, which has remained very wild, and breathtaking views.
This route is a combination of various local routes andGR® trails that run along the lower Lesse.

Passing through Celles, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia
Set off to explore this circular forest and countryside route starting from Houyet. Follow the Lesse river and then climb up to the heights to discover Celles, a village in the Namur Condroz region, and its collegiate church. Return via the Bois du Mauvais Mont and the Golf du Château Royal d'Ardenne.
Forest paths and country roads in Villance

The Lesse and the castle trails
Between Gendron, Furfooz and Chaleux, this hike plunges into the heart of the Lesse valley, between limestone cliffs, deep forests and villages steeped in history. The river has carved out spectacular rocks such as the Roche du Curé and the Aiguilles de Chaleux, offering superb views.
The route passes through unspoilt woods, rich in flora and fauna, and runs alongside the Lesse and the Forges stream, a reminder of the local industrial past. Perched castles, including Walzin and Vêves, and the Roman remains of Furfooz complete this landscape where nature and heritage complement each other.
Caves and resurgences near Han-sur-Lesse
This beautiful nature walk takes you close to Belgium's most famous resurgences: the Lomme and the Lesse, as well as the associated caves. It also offers some lovely views of the surrounding valleys.
L'Almache and the Belvédère
A circular forest between Daverdisse and Fays-Famenne with a magnificent diversity of trees and streams near the Lesse valley. Although entirely forested, the route offers panoramic and rural landscapes for a good kilometre near Fays-Famenne.
Between the Meuse and Lesse rivers in Anseremme
This long circular route takes you on a journey of discovery along the Meuse and Lesse rivers in one of the most beautiful parts of their course, with impressive rocks and splendid castles. Mainly wooded but also a little rural on the heights of Falmignoul, it does not present any major difficulties and is ideal for families.
In the footsteps of the Belgian monarchy from Villers-sur-Lesse
Follow in the footsteps of the Belgian royal family on this walk around Villers-sur-Lesse. Located on the Royal Donation estate (former royal properties), this circular takes you on a tour of various buildings: Villers Royal Farm, Villa Léopold, House of the Counts of Cunchy, Villers-sur-Lesse Castle, Ciergnon Castle, Queen Astrid Chapel. You will also have the opportunity to observe the typical landscapes of Famenne: fields, grasslands, forests and hills.
The two waters from Lesse

Dinant, martyred town, August 1914
Dinant, daughter of the Meuse, with its citadel, collegiate church, Rocher Bayard, river boats, and home of Adolphe Sax and Father Pire (Nobel Peace Prize winner). Dinant and its bloodstained banks in August 1914. Caught in a pincer movement between the Imperial Army and the French Army, it paid a heavy price for this situation. 674 civilians were massacred by the German Imperial Army. The route is a memorial route of this historical episode, which I invite you to discover.
