(1) In the event of flooding, the route along the Lomme is impassable... you can easily and safely go and see the resurgence (4) but you will have to retrace your steps to the point (1) and take the other path.
(3) The Éprave cave is closed and cannot be visited.
(4) Long suspected of being a resurgence of the Lomme and/or the Wamme, this exsurgence near the Éprave Cave was only formally recognised as a resurgence of the Lomme in July 2011 when the river bed was completely dry 2,400 metres upstream from the site.
(11) From the Griffaloux viewpoint, in good weather, you can see the Royal Castle of Ciergnon in the distance, in the woods north of Éprave, as well as the wind turbines on the plateau overlooking the Meuse, about 30 km away.
(12) The Han-sur-Lesse cave is considered the most beautiful cave in Europe and can be visited during the season (check opening hours). The visit can be combined with a tour of the animal park to the Belvaux chasm, where the Lesse disappears underground some 1,100 metres as the crow flies from the cave exit.
