Tour of La Chicotière
This short walk is a great way to discover this outlying neighbourhood of Dommartin and Marcilly-d'Azergues. You will pass through fields in a very peaceful area. Enjoy the view of the lower Beaujolais region and discover the little Chemin des Chouettes.
Circular Larny via the Château du Haut Poirier
This circular hike is not very long, but it does have some relatively wild and fairly steep sections. Largely through woodland, often on metamorphic rock paths, this route will take you to the surprisingly peaceful summit of hill 566, just a stone's throw from the town.

Circular on the Balad'Azergues
I chose the golden stone village centre of Civrieux d'Azergues as the starting and finishing point, which is often overlooked...
A pleasant, relatively shaded walk with no apparent difficulties, suitable for bicycles, children and our four-legged friends.
However,be careful on the road section (200 m) and the Azergues, which is still a river.
Along the Azergues
A round trip walk along the Azergues River from Lozanne. This is a beautiful walk for lovers of flora and fauna. Don't hesitate to go down to the river banks when possible.
The Three Streams in Saint-Genis-les-Ollières
You will discover an educational pond along the Méginand stream, walk in the shade of the tall trees lining the Ribes stream, and discover amazing rock formations weathered by time at the bottom of the Ratier valley.
Chemin de Machy
Between Lissieu and Chasselay, the Chemin de Machy walk is a quick round trip that allows you to discover Machy Castle and the surrounding countryside. The walk alternates between wooded and sunny areas.
Valency via the Col de La Croix du Ban
A short hike to soak up the gentle tranquillity of the Monts du Lyonnais, just 15 km as the crow flies from Place Bellecour (Lyon). This circuit is also very close to the neighbouring towns of Tassin, Craponne, Saint-Genis-les-Ollières and Charbonnières-les-Bains.
You will discover the calm of the forest with its remarkable trees, the tranquillity of small streams and breathtaking views of Lyon. As a bonus, depending on the conditions, you can enjoy views of the Alps and Mont Blanc.
