Park on Rue de l'Église.
(S/E) Cross the stone bridge on the right. Pass in front of the church and continue straight ahead on Rue des Rivières. Cross the level crossing and turn left at the next crossroads onto Chemin de Lozanne, then take the path on the right.
You will come to a small car park. Cross it to walk along the left side of the pond, pass in front of the boules court and then join the Azergues and Chemin Balad'Azergues.
(1) Take it on the left. This path is very wide, but it narrows slightly as it follows the meanders of the Azergues. You will reach a footbridge at the Parc des Berges.
(2) Take it on the right to cross the Azergues, then continue to the right on the D30 road, which follows theGRP® Tour des Pierres Dorées en Beaujolais, marked in red and yellow.
Be careful on the road, which is secured by wooden barriers. At the next crossroads, stay on theGRP® until you quickly reach another crossroads.
(3) Leave theGRP® here and turn right onto the Chemin de la balad'Azergues. You will rejoin theGRP® in the bend; follow it. Then leave the banks of the Azergues to cross a wood. Return to the banks of the Azergues to find a new bridge at the Chazay stadium.
(4) Cross the bridge and then turn right to walk along the Azergues again. You will reach the edge of a pond.
(5) Pass between the pond and the Azergues and continue along the Azergues. You will then come back to the crossroads you passed on the way out.
(1) Retrace your steps from the outward journey, turning left to return to the car park on Rue de l'Église (S/E).
