Start from the cemetery car park, Route de Pont de Reyre (D77E1).
(S/E) From the car park, take the Sentier du Joinet southwards and follow the ponds. At the end of the path, you’ll reach Dommartin Stadium. Follow the paths and walk past the changing rooms (water available if needed).
Take the path that runs between the football pitch and the tennis courts and, at the entrance to the woods, turn right. Continue through the woods alongside the tennis courts until you reach a dirt track.
Alternatively, you can stay on the path running alongside the tennis courts and then the children’s playground, before continuing along the path to the left towards the woods.
Continue along the dirt track which descends towards the river and its wash house in the woods. Cross the small wooden bridge and walk back up the car park for a few metres to find a gap in the hedge. Take the road to the right for 20 m, crossing the stone bridge.
(1) Just after the bridge, cross the road to take the Chemin des Granges-Basses, which is sometimes a bit hidden by the vegetation!
This path descends slightly before climbing again, running alongside a field on one side and the woods on the other.
(2) At the junction, turn left onto the Chemin des Rivières.
After 300 m, at the next junction, keep right and ignore the path crossing a bridge on the left. Climb steeply and, after passing some greenhouses on the left, follow the path on the right to join the Route du Pont de Reyre.
(3) Turn left for 50 m, watch out for traffic.
(4) Cross the road and take the path directly opposite, the Sentier des Bessons, and head towards a three-way junction.
(5) Turn right onto Chemin de l'Étang and head up the small road to the hamlet of La Bergeonnière.
At the junction, go straight on, then turn right at the next crossroads. Continue to the end of this road and arrive at the cemetery car park on the left (S/E).
