Start from the car park on Allée du Parc du Centre, near the mini-market.
(S/E) With your back to the mini-market, turn right onto Route des Bois and head for No. 6 on this road, a few metres before a roundabout.
(1) Take the cul-de-sac on the left and continue along the path until you reach the bottom of the valley.
(2) Just after crossing the stream, turn onto the path leading uphill to the right. At the edge of the woods, turn left and walk between the buildings.
(3) At the end of Chemin des Granges Basses, continue left onto Route du Pont de Reyre until you reach a three-way junction.
(4) Turn slightly left, then carry on straight ahead along the path.
(5) Cross the bridge over the railway line, continue along the tarmac road, enter Civrieux d’Azergues and reach the next junction. Turn sharply left onto the dead-end road, Chemin de la Pise.
(6) Cross the stream and take the Sentier du Picalet on the right until you reach a side street. Turn left and carry on straight ahead until you reach a three-way junction. Ignore the sign for Domartin on the left and continue along the right-hand branch.
(7) Cross the railway bridge, then turn left immediately. Leave the village and continue along the small road until you come to the start of a path on the right, marked by an iron gate with a stone wall to its left and a small niche. Do not go as far as the house a few metres further on to your left.
(8) Follow this path to the right; at the next junction, turn left and then, further on, turn right. Cross a track, then pass under the high-voltage power line and continue until you reach the first houses in a residential area. Turn left and, at the roundabout, head straight ahead onto the track running alongside the road on your left. Continue straight on until you reach a fork at the end of the residential area.
(9) Turn left and continue through the woodland, then between the fields, until you reach a road. Follow it straight on to the end.
(10) Take the D30 on the left, then turn left onto a path at the wayside cross on your right. A few metres further on, continue to the left, then carry on along Rue des Humberts to number 97. Turn left onto Rue Jean Marie Arnion and you’ll reach a crossroad. Turn right and you’ll soon reach Allée du Parc du Centre (S/E).
