Park in the church square in the centre of Lentilly.
(S/E) Take Rue des Sports towards the community centre and medical centre, Place de l'Europe (parking also available).
(1) Turn left onto Chemin des Côtes, a road with a footpath. Continue to the stop sign.
(2) Turn right down Chemin de la Balmière towards Les Gouttes. Continue until you reach Ruisseau des Flaches.
(3) Take the path on the left into the small valley after passing the first stream. Here, join a hiking trail towards La Ferrière en Biesse. Cross the road with caution. Walk along the meadows where cows with bells graze. It's quite a change of scenery here. You will reach the crossroads at the edge of the stream.
(4) Turn left towards La Ferrière Sourcieux. Continue straight ahead until you reach the D19.
(5) Cross it and climb up opposite, initially along Chemin de Fouillet, which continues as Chemin de Lentilly. At the crossroads, turn right to reach the chapel.
(6) Return to the ridge path and take it to the left. Enjoy the interesting views on both sides of this path. You will come to a T-junction with the Route de Sonnay.
(7) Turn right towards Mosouvre and Moiry. You will reach the D19 again.
(8) Cross it carefully. Here, you can turn right and then very quickly left onto the road if the path opposite is damaged.
If you took the path, you will come back to a narrow paved road. Continue straight downhill towards the hamlet of Les Gouttes. After crossing the Ruisseau des Flâches, you will come back to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(3) Follow the same route as on the way there to return to the car parks
(1) Pass Chemin des Côtes and arrive at Place de l'Église (S/E).
