Mont Errebi from Col de Pinodieta and return via Col des Trois Croix
This route will take you to the summit of Errebi more directly than via the Notre-Dame d'Arantza chapel. Two-thirds of the climb is on a gentle slope, ending with a slightly steeper section. The reward is at the summit with a 360° view. Horses and sheep will accompany you along the gentle descent to the Col des Trois Croix.

Aranzazu Chapel from the Pinodieta Pass
The chapel of Ainhoa, dedicated to Our Lady, was built on the side of Mount Atsulai at an altitude of 389 metres. Below the chapel, a small cave has been reconstructed. The statue of the Blessed Virgin dominates a spring near which Mary is said to have appeared in a hawthorn bush to a shepherd who exclaimed: "aranza zu" or "you in a hawthorn bush!".

The Mondarrain and Ourrezti peaks in the Basque Country highlands
The ascent of Le Mondarrain provides access to a viewpoint covering the Basque Country as far as the sea. Views to the south over a wild landscape, kingdom of birds of prey, horses and local breeds of cattle, which are a little wild as they are free to come and go.

Bistaeder from Ainhoa
Ainhoa, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, invites you to discover its gentle environment. The shimmering half-timbered houses in the village centre give way to peaceful countryside dotted with isolated farms. A steady but relatively short climb in the company of pottoks and flocks of sheep takes you up the hillsides and mountains. This is followed by a magnificent open balcony path, offering a vast panorama of Spain, the Nivelle valley, the Rhune and, further away, the coast. Three huge white crosses proudly dominating the village of Ainhoa and facing the pyramidal summit of Atxuria guide your steps towards Notre-Dame de l'Aubépine, a divine spot for a picnic.
