The walk starts at the Cambo-les-Bains Tourist Office.
(S/E) Turn right onto Avenue de la Mairie as you leave the Tourist Office and go around the town hall. Turn right onto Rue du Trinquet. Take Rue Xerri Karrika on the right. This street continues with a large staircase that leads to the bridge over the Nive.
(1) Pass to the left of Avenue de la Gare to cross the bridge and immediately follow Chemin de Burgachiloa to the left. Join Route du Bas-Cambo and follow it to the left. It makes a series of two first turn right then left turns to reach Bas-Cambo. On the way, admire the church on the heights and the typical houses of the Basque country.
(2) At the corner of one of these houses, turn left onto Route de Halsou. Pass the wash house and continue for about a hundred metres.
(3) On the right, cross the bridge and take the small winding road that climbs through the Bas-Cambo countryside. Leave Chemin de Soroburua on your left. Walk along this path for a while until you reach a wider road.
(4) Take this wider road on the right, which is the D250 leading to the Route des Cimes. On a clear day, enjoy the view.
(5) About 100 metres before reaching the Route des Cimes, turn right and take the path that descends, which is the Chemin d'Hariakazuia. Continue along this path, leaving the Route des Sept Chênes on your left, and pass in front of the campsite.
(6) Turn right after the campsite and the stream to return to the fork in the road you took on the way there.
(2). Take the Bas-Cambo road on the left and return to the starting point via the bridge over the Nive and the steps to Rue Xerri Karrika and Rue du Trinquet (S/E).
