Stromberg circular
A beautiful circular starting from the village of Contz-les-Bains to the summit of Stromberg, which overlooks the Moselle and faces Sierck and its medieval castle.
Circular route around Sierck les Bains
This walk takes you to two castles: Sierck Castle and Manderen Castle, better known as Malbrouck Castle.
Numerous religious buildings (chapels, wayside shrines, churches, Jewish cemetery in Sierck).
Finally, the route allows you to discover a rich variety of flora (particularly along the nature trail at Montenach) and fauna (birds of prey, woodpeckers).
Also worth seeing are two typical Lorraine villages with their old buildings.
Sierk-les-Bains and Schengen, land of the Three Borders
A circular walk in the Three Borders region and the Moselle wine country.The route runs alongside the Moselle before crossing it and climbing up into the woods above Schengen (Luxembourg). Beautiful views of the valley, vineyards and villages of Perl (Germany), Apach and Sierk.
Traumschleife Tour – Schengen Grenzenlos – Sans Frontières
The route in the border triangle over the Stromberg, where the border between Luxembourg and France runs, offers fantastic views across the Moselle valley towards Luxembourg, France and Germany. Here, walkers can experience a borderless Europe at first hand.
Traumschleife - Schengen without borders
The certified "Schengen without Borders" hiking trail starts in the village of Schengen at the European Museum. Passing through forests, fields and vineyards, the trail goes via Strombierg and offers breathtaking views of the Moselle valley (Sierck and Contz).
From the Dreiländerblick viewpoint to Malbrouck
Starting from the Dreiländerblick viewpoint, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Moselle Valley on the German, French and Luxembourgish sides, the route descends towards Belmach and Haut-Apach before climbing up the opposite side towards the Kitzingerberg and reaching the village of Ritzing. After this first half of the walk, which takes place entirely in the forest, the landscape changes completely as you explore the countryside surrounding the Hirschenberg and its field of solar panels. After passing Malbrouck Castle, which was magnificently renovated at the end of the 20th century, the route crosses the village of Merschweiller before reaching the Chapel of Our Lady of Peace (Friedenskapelle) and the panoramic path that leads back to the starting point.You may well have the chance to see storks flying overhead, watch birds of prey soaring, and spot the odd roe deer at the edge of a woodland.

Malbrouck Castle Route
This route, mostly through woodland, will take you on a tour of the Manderen Valley. Malbrouck Castle, a landmark of the Three Borders region and the Manderen Valley, will be the final stop on this walk.This walk will also give you the chance to discover the Husprung resurgence, the Chapel of Peace and to pass through several villages typical of the region.
Family walk around the village of Koenigsmacker
The route is suitable for children and pushchairs. A short, family-friendly walk that’s easy to access, with almost no elevation changes. Half in the village, half in the countryside, making it easy to explore the village at your own pace.
Koenigsmacker Circular via Métrich and Oudrenne
A walk beginning with a tour of the village of Kœnigsmacker, followed by its natural ponds. The route takes you across a meadow towards the village of Métrich, then through a wooded section to reach the village of Oudrenne, which you’ll explore via its backstreets. Finally, you’ll pass through the woodland once more, heading towards the Cité des Officiers, and from there, return to the starting point.
Explore the village of Koenigsmacker and its woodland
A route that allows you to explore our beautiful village and its surroundings. The first section takes you along the cycle path running alongside the Canner towards Elzange, then past the Cité des Officiers, before climbing up into the cool shade of the Bois de Kœnigsmacker, and finally descending towards Métrich and returning along the road to the village.
Dream loop tour – Wehinger Viezpfad
The heights of the Saargau above Wehingen can be reached via the slopes of the Kewelsberg through a sea of green limestone. After the descent, there are numerous old orchards, unspoilt stream valleys with clear, bubbling streams and sunken paths in extensive wooded areas.
The Saar River bend from Orscholz
This beautiful hike takes you on a journey of discovery along a magnificent bend in the Saar River, starting from the Cloef Atrium car park in Orsholz (part of the municipality of Mettlach). The route gradually descends to the viewpoint and then to the riverbank before climbing back up to the starting point, all within a splendid forest setting.
Circular Sarre from Orscholz
Circular Sarre: it goes up and down. A short boat trip across the Sarre during the hike for a few euros. A magnificent spot, you can grab a drink at a bar by the water and then set off again. Really very nice.
Walk around the Saar Loop
A walk around the Saar Loop near Mettlach, one of the Saarland’s most famous attractions. The route takes you from the “WELLES” ferry across the Mettlach lock up to the treetop walk and back in a loop to your starting point.

The Fort aux Fresques
Maginot Line Fort A24, known as the “Fort aux Fresques”, consists of an entrance block and three combat blocks. Its uniqueness lies in the various humorous murals depicting the life of a fortress crew, as well as the mottos and names of the different underground galleries.
There is a single departure time for tours: please arrive 10 minutes before departure.
Stroll through Luxembourg's old town
Set off to discover Luxembourg, its old town, its cobbled paths high up for changing panoramic views, cross a park surrounded by Vauban fortifications. Climb to the top of the Rock Bock and descend towards the old town.
Inline skating route in Luxembourg
Here’s an inline-skating route that takes you on a tour of the Kirchberg district and Luxembourg City. The route follows almost exclusively cycle paths. The only difficulties you may encounter along the way are cobbled sections, uneven surfaces in the parks and tactile paving for the visually impaired in front of each pedestrian crossing. I wouldn’t recommend this route for beginners. Start: Luxexpo tram stop, finish: Place de Paris
Discover the city of Luxembourg
From the Plateau des Trois Glands and the Vauban fortifications, descend into the lower part of the old town and escape via a panoramic lift. Then head to the historic centre from the Bock plateau and follow the corniche path to the Plateau du St-Esprit. Discover the Place de la Gelle Fra and then venture onto the footbridge suspended under the Adolphe Bridge. If you feel like it, head to the former ARBED building, now the headquarters of SpuerKeess. Finish your escape with a short tram ride to the Hamilius Forum, from where you can easily reach the Place d'Armes, the Grand Ducal Palace and Place Guillaume. The latter two squares offer a wide range of cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets.
