Walk around Puech de Soulages
This is an easy walk offering 360° views of the Aubrac plateau to the west, the Cantal mountains to the north and the Rouergue hills to the east. The walk starts just after the hamlet of Soulages in the commune of Cassuéjouls.
Oules waterfalls
This short walk offers beautiful views of the village of Laguiole and the Oules waterfall.

Route around Lake Galens
Starting from the church square in Soulages-Bonneval in Rouergue, this is a short hike on the Aubrac plateau.

Small stone bridge at Curières
A very short circular route to discover a small stone bridge over the Boralde Flaujaguèse, which flows below the village of Curières.
Oratory of Montpeyroux and Château du Bousquet
A loop trail through Aubrac cow pastures, passing by an oratory offering a sweeping view, then by a magnificent castle straight out of a fairy tale.
Chemin des Burons to the Bagpipe Museum
This trail will introduce you to the burons, typical Aubrac buildings once used during the summer grazing season. At the Bagpipe Museum, you can discover the history of the cabrette and the world'slargest collection of bagpipes. Along the way, you can admire the Plomb du Cantal, the Puy Mary, the church of Vines and its Stations of the Cross, as well as an exceptional view of Lake Sarrans.
Devèz waterfall and Puech du Roussillon
Circular to discover the beautiful Devèz Waterfall, with a first part through the forest and a second part on the beautiful summer pastures of Puech du Roussillon. Lots of streams in the forest and beautiful views from the summer pastures.GPS or Visorando app recommended.

A beautiful circular route on the heights of Condom-d'Aubrac, in the summer pastures of the Montagne des Enguilhens and through some beautiful sections of beech forest. Discover a memorial site of the Maquis Roland de l'Aubrac, the Grotte des Enguilhens.
Boralde Valley in Condom
A route that first passes through the heights of the Boralde de Condom before descending into the valley of this forest-lined river. Two return trips to the edge of the boralde are added to this circular route to discover the ruins of a mill and an old bridge.
Towards Bonneval Abbey
From the village of Cayrol, on the edge of the Aubrac plateau, this hike takes us back to the deep gorges of a boralde where the Cistercian Abbey of Bonneval nestles in a solitary and peaceful spot conducive to contemplation.
The Roman road in Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac
A very pleasant hike, starting in the shade of hazelnut and ash trees. Then, on the Roman road, you will encounter the beautiful Aubrac cows (in season) with superb views of the Lot valley. Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac is a stop on the Way of St James and its bridge is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the title "Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France".
One-day pilgrim on the Aubrac
A day on the majestic Aubrac plateau with its drovers' roads and pastures.This circuit can be combined with the Aubrac-Nasbinals round trip (published on Visorando), allowing you to create a two-day hike with an overnight stay in Nasbinals.
On the heights of Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac via Belvezet
You will meet many pilgrims in the first part of the hike, up to Belvezet, topped by its heavily eroded neck. A long stretch of road (caution for those allergic to tarmac!), although with very little traffic, takes you through the Saint-Chely-d'Aubrac valley to the mountain pastures, where you will only encounter beautiful Aubrac cows. Visit the village at the end of the hike.
Aubrac - Nasbinals
If you want to get a taste of the pilgrim's life, this circuit is for you. It is a short round trip that can be done on its own.
Combined with the One-Day Pilgrim's Tour of Aubrac (published on Visorando), it can be turned into a two-day hike with an overnight stay in Nasbinals.
The Chemin de Bouldoires

Mont Mournac
This route allows you to discover the pretty village of Espinasse, which overlooks the Truyère valley and offers breathtaking views of the highest peaks in the Cantal region from Mont Mournac. The small 15th-century church is well worth a visit. The wash house, fountains and drinking troughs are also part of the local landscape.
Chemin des Vignes from Crussac
Come and discover the panoramic views of the Lot valley from these former vineyards. This immersive walk through the countryside offers some beautiful views. In this wild area, you will encounter the stories and legends of the region. At the Gachou waterfalls, you can enjoy a moment of refreshment and relaxation.
A very pleasant hike that alternates between shaded and open areas with beautiful views. Pass through small hamlets. The roads used are not very busy. Hunting activities are indicated in the areas concerned.
