In Curières, park on Place des Jardins, on the opposite side of the church from the D900.
This hike is not marked
(S/E) Return to the village by crossing the D900 with caution and take the Passage du Carriérou. You will find yourself at Place de l'Oratoire.
(1) Pass to the right of it and take Rue Émile Sinègre opposite. Leave the street on the right and follow Chemin Clos du Pont. First a path, past a small garden, it becomes a trail crossed by a small stream. If it has rained in the previous days, be careful. If this is the case (do not continue if you are not wearing suitable footwear, as the stones are very slippery). Descend to the edge of the Boralde Flaujaguèse.
(2) Cross the stream over a small bridge made of two flat stones. Go up a path, which is also used by water during the season, then climb a slope to reach a track. Follow it to the left. Further on, open a gate and join a road, at an old mill that has been renovated into a house (Moulin de Pétrou).
(3) Cross a bridge over the river and follow the road to the left to climb back up to the village (ignore a path on the right as you climb). At the entrance to the village, climb a staircase on the right (yellow markings) to reach Place de l'Oratoire, on the church side.
(1) Keep to the right of the oratory and take the street opposite, Rue Léon Alazar (signposted further on), then the stairs leading up to the D900. Continue straight ahead to return to the car park (S/E).
