Park in the fairground car park with the statue of a bull in Laguiole.
(S/E) Take the main street (Allée de l'Amicale) towards the church, then turn left into Rue Bardière. Then take thethird street on the left (Rue Bombecul), which descends to the road (Chemin de Chauchailles). Turn left uphill and pass the retirement home.
(1) Immediately after, take a path on your right, follow it and then quickly descend onto the lawn of the retirement home and cross the stream over a small wooden bridge. Follow the path and cross a stone bridge.
(2) A few metres further on, take the path on the left to reach the Cascades des Oules waterfalls. Continue along the path uphill through the coniferous forest until you reach a hairpin bend.
(3) Turn right at the hairpin bend. The path runs along the hillside for a while, then descends to the previous crossroads.
(2) Continue straight ahead. Views of the village begin to appear. Follow this path, which passes above a farm further on. Shortly afterwards, turn left and climb uphill. If the weather is clear, you can see the volcanoes in the distance.
At the next intersection, follow the track to the left (viewpoint of the village) until you reach another intersection.
(4) Take the path on the left between the fields. Continue along this path, which descends and joins the path followed after the waterfall. Continue downhill until you reach the junction.
This time, take the path on your right.
(2) Continue straight ahead, cross the stone bridge and then the wooden bridge, and return to the road at the retirement home.
(1) Take the road opposite, then the alleyway that goes up in the extension to reach the end of the Place du Foirail. Turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
