Cantoin Town Hall car park.
(S/E) Walk past the town hall and school, then turn right and immediately left onto Rue du Touel until you reach the Catusse cross.
(1) Follow the D98 to the right until you reach the junction with the next road.
(2) Turn right and follow the road through the Bois de Cantoinet forest to the old departmental road.
(3) Turn right and follow the road to the Peyrarque pier.
(4) Take the road on the left to see the pier. Go back up the same way. Continue along the forest path opposite and follow it for about 1.5 km.
(5) When you reach the fork, turn left and continue to the beach and the Brieu picnic area.
(6) Take the same path back to the fork.
(5) Continue along the path on the left, climbing towards the hamlet of Brieu.
(7) Continue climbing until you reach the next intersection.
(8) Turn right onto the path going up into the forest. Continue climbing until you arrive between two farm buildings in the hamlet of Les Muzadous. Take the opportunity to admire the view over Lake Sarrans.
(9) Take the path on the left leading back up to the road.
(10) Turn right and return to the Place de la Mairie car park (S/E).
