Blandy walks

A hike rich in heritage in the south of Brie. It starts at the old fortified castle of Blandy-les-Tours, which is in excellent condition, and ends with a visit to one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in the Île-de-France region. Two other churches, a chapel, another more recent castle and an old mill complete the picture. A route on a cultivated plateau, through woods and alongside the Ru d'Ancoeur.

A lovely circular along the Ancœuil. Walking along this river is very pleasant when the weather is warm.

A circular mainly through the forest, starting from Place des Fourneaux in Maincy. The route begins with a walk through the village and continues along the neighbouring fields. After a short stretch through the forest, it continues along the surrounding wall of the Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte with a view of the Ancueil spillway. Pass in front of the Maison des Carmes, then return to the village square.

From Maincy Church to Blandy-les-Tours Castle via Vaux le Vicomte Castle.

This hike takes you through the fields and woods of the Brie region, following the old railway line that once connected the Gare de la Bastille in Paris to Marles-en-Brie, north of this route.

Let yourself be guided to Nicolas Fouquet's famous château along the Amont greenway, through the picturesque Briard village of Maincy, a "small town of character", then past the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and its French gardens.

This hike alternates between forest, the Parc de l'Abbaye du Lys and the animal park at Château Soubiran in Dammarie.

Route along the Seine from Chartrettes to Samois-sur-Seine, followed by a walk through part of the Forest of Fontainebleau. A visit to the cemetery in Samois allows you to see the grave of Django Reinhardt.

This loop is accessible by public transport and showcases several aspects of the Forest of Fontainebleau: forest stands of various species, ponds and rocky outcrops. The superb viewpoint at Camp de Chailly is a great place to stop for a break.

From Bois-le-Roi to Fontainebleau, walk between forest and rocks far from the beaten track

The Fontainebleau Forest is one of the most beautiful forests in France thanks to its varied landscapes and, above all, its sandstone blocks. This hike, which passes through the Cuvier-Châtillon rocks, the Apremont gorges and the rocks of Mont Ussy, will allow you to appreciate all its beauty but also its fragility, due to both natural erosion and that caused by heavy human traffic, given its proximity to the Paris region.

A short hike that takes you to a beautiful lake and through beautiful forests and rocky landscapes. A 2 km loop is wheelchair accessible (see the practical information section).

Long but very nice hike station to station in the Forest of Fontainebleau. It goes through several viewpoints, ponds, little known corners, stunning scenery.

This hike alternates between the rocks of Fontainebleau, the undergrowth, the banks of the Seine with the "Affolantes" of Bois-le-Roi (the beautiful villas), and a return via the Mare aux Évées. Please note: the Rocher Canon becomes very crowded at weekends when the weather is good.

Loop in the north of the Fontainebleau Forest, between Rocher Canon, Camp de Chailly, Cuvier-Rempart, Mare à Piat, and Rocher Saint-Germain. Interesting rocks, remarkable trees, varied views.

Hike from Liverdy-en-Brie via Retal, Courquetaine and La Marsange, alternating between wooded areas, farmland and urban passages, with two churches, two castles, a farm and a wash house.

This route connects two towers (the Tour Denecourt and the Tour de Samois) via relatively quiet trails, mainly the Denecourt-Colinet and Samoisiens trails.

A rural hike that alternates between old villages, former quarries, forest and the banks of the Seine. The road that was previously used for the return journey has changed from a private road to a public road and is no longer suitable for walking, hence a significant change to the route.

This walk offers views of the Yerres, a priory, two wash houses and cows, alternating between woods and fields.

The most beautiful and rocky part of the Denecourt-Colinet trail No. 5 is completed by a loop around the massif with views of Camp de Chailly and Rocher Canon. Please note: the automatic calculation underestimates the twists and turns in the rocky sections of the Denecourt-Colinet trails. Allow for 19 km and 400 m of elevation gain.

It is a short, relatively easy circuit exploring some curiosities of the forest of Fontainebleau around the Avon SNCF train station, namely the views over the Croix du Calvaire, the Sponge Rock, Denecourt Tower and fountains. One could also call it the fountain circuit.

The Croix d'Augas, the rocks of Mont Ussy, the Solle racecourse, the Rocher Cassepot, the Denecourt Tower, the Circuit des Fontaines, and return via the beautiful viewpoint of the Croix du Calvaire. N.B. As is often the case with the Denecourt-Colinet trails, the automatic calculation underestimates the twists and turns in the rocks: allow for 17 km and 250 m of elevation gain, or 5 hours.

This circuit connects the Gorges d'Apremont and the Gorges de Franchard, passing by the beautiful viewpoint of Camp d'Arbonne and offering a little-known view of the Désert d'Apremont. It uses some sections of the Denecourt-Colinet trails, runs along some peaceful paths with poetic names and passes by the beautiful Mare aux Sangliers.

Fontainebleau forest is one of the most beautiful French forests thanks to its varied landscapes and, in particular, its sandstone blocks. This hike circles the Apremont gorges along the Colinet-Denecourt path N°6 and lets you enjoy it in all its beauty and fragility, the latter due both to natural erosion and human use, and is near the Paris region.

This circuit offers a large loop that connects Barbizon to the Rocher de Milly, passing through Isatis and the Rochers des Sablons (very beautiful sandstone quarries). It then joins the Hurlevent viewpoint, crosses the beautiful and wild Touche aux Mulets plateau, then, after crossing the Rocher de Milly again, reaches Franchard, the Gorges d'Apremont and the André Billy viewpoint. Many "wild" and unfrequented sections.

Barbizon, the city of painters. There are numerous frescoes on the walls of the Grande Rue, depicting the paintings of our great artists. And there is a natural rock sculpture representing "the Elephant".
