Baden-Baden walks

This circuit is best done at the end of May during the rhododendron flowering season. You can also see a series of small waterfalls. The hike is not difficult. It can be very busy on Saturdays and Sundays (especially on the first third)

Start from the Sarbacher Hotel in Kaltenbronn (Gernsbach). Several large car parks are available, so it's fairly easy to find a space. The car parks are connected by a tarmac footpath. Ideal hike for a family outing. No steep or technical slopes. There is a very long wooden pontoon leading to a well-preserved pond. Pets are allowed along the entire route. The trail is well marked with the option to extend the route.

From amazing view point on the Vosges and black forest, to tiny (or bigger) chappel passing by lambs and goats, this hike is easy to do. Hike in the hills above Gengenbach. Parking next to a clinic. The route is accessible to all, with forest paths and small trails. The climb at the start is long but easy, and then you come to some small paths. At the end of the route, there is a magnificent view of the town of Gengenbach.
