The Devil's Stone route in Artas
This is a walk with little elevation gain and no difficulty, except for the distance. You will stroll through the rolling countryside of northern Isère. As a bonus, you can walk around the Pierre du Diable (Devil's Rock) and maybe even climb it!
Circular north of Charantonnay
This is a short, unpretentious walk, offering nothing more than the chance to get some fresh air and stretch your legs.
Montjoux Pond
A short walk that will take you to the Étang de Monjoux and its educational trail. On the way back, you will pass in front of the Saint-Pierre Chapel in Bournay.
From the Vacheresse woods to the Revollet woods
A very beautiful day's walk on more than 90% paths and trails, in the undergrowth surrounded by nature where you can really breathe, not far from Bourgoin-Jallieu and Lyon.
Aillat, Grande Forêt from Chèzeneuve
This walk is taken from the "Du bois de la Vacheresse à celui du Revollet" hike by Jipedeu, of which it forms the western wing.
A pleasant alternation between woods, clearings and cultivated fields. Few roads and lots of clean, well-maintained paths, very pleasant in all seasons.
Roche and Bonnefamille loop between woods and panoramic views
In good weather, you will have magnificent views of the Alps and the Lyon metropolitan area.
Combes à Royas route
This is a short walk with no great difficulty, except for a steep hill at the start.
Fouroise walk
Shadow and light for this "four seasons" hike.
Around Sainte-Anne-sur-Gervonde
A short walk in the countryside of northern Isère. The first part takes you across the open plateau, the second through more enclosed valleys, alongside several ponds.
Circuit starting from Saint-Georges d'Espéranche
In autumn, the Fromentaux woods are full of chestnuts. In good weather, you can see Mont Blanc and the Alps from the heights. The route also takes us to the small spring at Maison Badin, passes through La Beaume and Les Combes, crosses the small stream of La Vesonne and returns via the peaceful By pond.
We also walk alongside numerous meadows where horses graze.
The Trois Vallons Golf Course and the Bois de Montgeard
An idea for a walk to get some fresh air.
Between Gère and Auron
A charming walk that alternates between forest and countryside. It takes place alternately on dirt tracks and small asphalt roads. The elevation gain is divided into three distinct phases and is therefore not too arduous.
Saint-Jean route starting from Villeneuve-de-Marc
A short route through the countryside and valleys of northern Isère. On days with good visibility, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.
The Monks' Path in Lieudieu
This walk is not difficult. It alternates between woodland and the Dauphiné bocage. It takes you past three beautiful residences: the fortified house of Cazeneuve, Bonnevaux Castle and Avril (or Arzay) Castle, as well as a few ponds.
The Clock Tower and Saint Hugon Chapel
This walk presents no major difficulties apart from the distance. The first part takes place mainly in the woods, the second in the Dauphiné bocage. It will take you past several ponds, up to the Clock Tower, and to the amazing Saint-Hugon Chapel.
The three valleys: Valaise, Gère and Girand
A hike with a relatively even elevation gain, which mainly takes place in the undergrowth and offers occasional views of the peaks.
The castle and ponds of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier
A beautiful, bucolic walk to explore the riches of the town of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier. I recommend following the route with the app so you don't miss any poorly marked trails.
