Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve
This short walk is full of interesting views of lakes with bird-watching hides in the Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve. Also view along River Welland.
There are no facilities at this location but several options in nearby Crowland, Deeping St. James and Market Deeping.
Moulton Chapel Circular
This is a nice walk on quiet roads and Randall Bank path following dyke, It starts and finishes at good pub "The Jolly Farmer "PE12 0XQ".
Woodman pub through Blue Bell woods and Ferry Meadows
Using the car park for Woodman and golf club (free to use if you have a drink at the Woodman), follow Bluebell Wood to cross the river Nene and then up to Gunwade Lake. Cross the bridge to follow Overton Lake, continue to cross Bluebell Bridge and back to the car park.
Depending on the time of year, you can see bluebells (April/May) and many migratory birds on lakes in Autumn and Winter.
Etton to Maxey, Cambridgeshire
Nice walk from Etton using minor roads and bridleways to reach Maxey, then returning to Etton via roads in northern Cambridgeshire. Excellent views over the pools from the gravel pits and the observation stations give views of water birds like Greylag Geese.
Ferry Meadows Walk 2
This walk starts and finishes at Northcutt's Garden Centre (PE2 5UU) which has an excellent restaurant. It encompasses walking around Overton and Gunwade lakes nearly all on hard footpaths.

Market Deeping to Maxey, Cambridgeshire
This walk starts at the car park by Market Deeping shopping centre, leads you to lovely Castle End in Maxey, before returning on a footpath along the River Welland.

Tudor Queen Circular Walk -2
Short but interesting walk from Tudor Queen, Spalding Lincolnshire along New River Drove (track) to join the River Welland opposite the sailing club, then walking upstream over A1175 and eventually returning via tracks.

Easy walk on dykes and roads with the opportunity to see birdlife such as Swans, Cormorants, Grebes and Egret. Tulip Queen good eating place normal carvery etc. suggest booking if large party.
Matmore Gate to Springfields via Coronation Channel Spalding
This easy short walk along the Coronation Channel has many water birds to observe, Crested Grebe, Ducks, Swans, Herons sometimes Cormorants. Springfields is a major shopping outlet has all the facilities, coffee shops and lovely gardens to take a short break.
Coronation Channel was created in 1953 following major flooding of Spalding following heavy rains rising River Welland coupled with a very high tide, so this relief channel was dug.

Moulton Road Circular via Whaplode
This is a delightful walk, especially when footpaths are muddy; it is all on hard surface on minor roads. Leaving The Swan in Moulton, a short visit to the tallest windmill in UK, before continuing along B1357 and then on minor roads across open fenland going south. Eventually recrossing B1357 on minor roads going north to Whaplode, eventually returning to Moulton.
Springfields Spalding circular via Wykeham
Short walk starting at car park pay station near Café Nero. Minor road to follow River Welland exiting on minor road to Wykeham and return to Springfields Outlet Shopping complex.
Chatteris Airfield
A walk along the Forty-foot drain looping up around the airfield, the route is via public footpaths apart from the last 400m which is along the road.
Three Churches at Fleet and Gedney - Lincolnshire
The pleasant walk starts and finishes at the Rose & Crown, Fleet Hargate. The walk is over minor roads and field paths and tracks the Anglican church in Fleet, the Anglican church in Gedney and the ex-Baptist church in Fleet Hargate.

This is a pleasant walk on minor roads through villages with good views over fields and dykes. A highlight on the walk is St. Mary Magdalene Church in Fleet, and is worth a visit.
