Springfields Spalding circular via Wykeham

Start: Area between car park payment and Café Nero. Start after parking go towards main entrance to Springfield Shopping Outlet. Grid ref. TF 262 240

(S/E) Facing back towards the car park cross and cross the car park to the point where cars enter and collect tickets, to your right go to the walking exit and climb up to Coronation Channel.

(1) When you reach Coronation Channel turn right and follow the channel to cross the road. Continue along the channel which after 200 metres joins river Welland. Follow the Welland for a further 2 kilometres.

(2) At the point where Welland and the footpath are passing a small wood on your right, you see the road. Drop down to join the minor road, turn right for a short distance. Then take the road (The Chase) on your left. Follow it for approx. 800 metres to a T-junction. Turn right to join Wykeham Lane minor road for 800 metres and a road junction.

(3) At the junction turn right onto Stumps Lane. Continue for 1 Kilometer. The road stops before the embankment up to A16.

(4) Just before the embankment turn right after about 300 metres, go around the gate on your left to join a minor road.

(5) Turn left under the bridge and continue on the road for about 1 Kilometre to a fork on the road.

(6) Take the left fork and proceed down the road about 300 metres to the Start point and complete the walk. (S/E)
