Saint-Vaast-d'Équiqueville walks

Hike to discover the fortified farm of La Valouine, a listed historical monument built in 1602. The route largely follows route 23, the "Circuit des Antipodes", and the red and yellow marked long-distance hiking trail.

This hike starts in the small Brayon village of Mesnil-Follemprise and takes you through the Eawy forest, where you will discover a magnificent view of the Béthune valley. You will see two manor houses along the Green marked route, which corresponds to route no. 8.

Hike in the magnificent Eawy forest. Mainly the Basses and Hautes Brehoulles and Hoquet mountain ranges. Pass by the Rêves de Bisons bison farm, where with a little luck you may catch a glimpse of these magnificent animals.

During this hike, you will cross the village of Ardouval along narrow roads. Then, it will take you to the Eawy Forest to the Val Ygot V1 site. The return trip will be via Pommeréval, where you are sure to encounter horses.

A lovely walk through the Varenne ponds. Pass through Torcy-le-Petit to enter the Eawy Forest. Return to Saint-Aubin-le-Cauf via the Béthune Valley.

A long walk through the magnificent Eawy Forest with its remarkable beech trees. The walk begins with a visit to the Val Ygot V1 site, a remnant of the Second World War, followed by a walk along the Limousin Forest Road, which runs through the forest for 14 km.

This walk takes you from the countryside to the forest, with some pleasant passages on the return leg along the small branch of the river that runs through the commune of Saint-Ouen-sous-Bailly.

This hike will take you to the heights of Mesnières-en-Bray in the Hellet Forest, which is carpeted with bluebells in spring. You can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Boutonnière du Pays de Bray.

Difficulty rating IBP = 66 Average Route in the Helet Forest via the Saint-Amador coast and the Bois de Croixdalle and Bailleul woods, bypassing Mont de Duranville. Departure from Mesnières-en-Bray with its superb Renaissance castle.

This route will introduce you to the charming flower-filled village of Mesnières-en-Bray, which boasts exceptional scenery with Saint-Amador hill covered in orchids in spring and a rich heritage with its Renaissance castle.

This walk will take you through the charming village and past the ponds of Saint-Hellier, nestled on the banks of the Varenne River. It will lead you into the Forêt Domaniale d'Eawy, which overlooks the village.

Circular hike in the Eawy Forest between Orival and Le Châtelet, following beautiful, well-marked forest tracks. Beech trees, more beech trees, but one of the most beautiful beech forests in France. Ideal for a short outing for experienced hikers or a longer hike for beginners. Very easy access via the wide and pleasant D154 country road.

A lovely walk in the Eaulne valley and on the Grèges plateau with beautiful views of the valley. Departure near the mill and the river, swimming possible. Visit to Ancourt and Martin Église. Pass through the Arques National Forest.

Hike in the forest of Arques la Bataille, a beautiful beech forest. Pass by the Saint-Étienne pyramid or obelisk to enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Arques valley. Part of the path is no longer maintained ( see the Dieppe news article). In the meantime, I suggest an alternative route starting from point (11).

This route through the countryside around Bully will give you a view of the Béthune Valley. You will take sunken paths through the undergrowth. The return journey will take you through the hamlet of Martincamp, passing in front of the Sainte-Marguerite Chapel.
