Departure from the car park of the Bully village hall opposite the school complex.
(S/E) With your back to the village hall, take Rue des Écoles on your left, which descends and crosses a housing estate. Follow this street downhill until you reach the intersection with Route d'Esclavelles.
At the intersection, take Route d'Esclavelles on your left and continue along this street until you reach the crossroads.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right onto Route de Neufchâtel. Continue straight ahead on this road, passing the church on your right and the town hall on your left.
After the church, turn right and go down Route de Quievrecourt until you reach the fork.
(2) At the fork, take Route du Quesnay on your left, which climbs slightly and offers a magnificent view of the Béthune valley.
Take the first dirt track on your right and follow the path through the fields to the crossroads.
(3) Continue along the road opposite, Rue des Sorengs. Take the sunken lane on your right. Continue along this lane and, at the end, cross over the Bully stream and join the tarmac road, Rue du Passe-Temps.
Continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with Route d'Esclavelles.
(4) Cross Route d'Esclavelles and take the path opposite that goes uphill. At the top, you will reach Route de la Forêt. Take this road on your left and immediately turn onto the path on your left that runs alongside the forest and then cultivated fields.
Continue along this path and turn left to reach Impasse de la Tremblaye at the end.
(5) Take Impasse de la Tremblaye on your right, which climbs uphill. At the top, take the sunken path in front of you, which climbs uphill and enters the woods.
When you come out of the woods, continue along the path on your left until you reach the T-junction with Route des Défends (Esclavelles). Turn right onto Route des Défends and continue along this road.
(6) 200 metres further on, take the first grassy path on your right. Continue along this flat path which leads to a tarmac road, Route de la Forêt, in the hamlet of Martincamp.
Turn right onto Route de la Forêt until you reach the junction with Rue des Potiers.
(7) At the junction, turn left onto Rue des Potiers and continue straight ahead until you reach a fork. Look out for the Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite chapel on your left.
(8) At the fork, turn right onto Rue du Mont Blanc, which becomes a steep and slippery sunken lane through the woods. Continue along this lane, which descends towards the village of Bully, until you reach the junction with Route de la Forêt.
(9) At the junction, cross Route de la Forêt and take the tarmac road opposite to reach the car park of the village hall (S/E).
