Departure from the car park of the Mesnil-Follemprise village hall on Rue Henri IV.
(S/E) With your back to the village hall, take Rue Henri IV on your right.
Continue along this street until you reach Chemin des Chartilles on your left.
(1) Continue along Chemin des Chartilles, a small tarmac road at the start which turns into a grassy path and climbs gently towards the Eawy National Forest.
(2) At the entrance to the forest, continue straight ahead on the Ligne du Mesnil forest path until you reach the junction with the Route Forestière des Deux Cantons, ignoring the paths on your right and left.
(3) At the crossroads, take the Route Forestière des Deux Cantons on your left. Continue along this forest road until you reach the T-junction with the D212. Turn right and continue until you reach the old forest house on the Route de Bures.
(4) At the forest house, cross the D212 and take the Route Forestière des Deux Mamelons opposite. Continue straight ahead on the Route des Deux Mamelons, ignoring the paths on your left, until you reach the junction with the Route Forestière du Cheval Rouge.
(5) At the junction, take this forest road on your left. Continue straight ahead. It turns into a shaded path at the edge of the forest, descending towards the hamlet of Follemprise.
(6) When you reach the hamlet of Follemprise, continue along the Chemin du Cheval Rouge tarmac road until you reach the junction with the D12.
(7) At the crossroads, take the D12 on your left. Continue along the D12, noting the Manoir de Follemprise on your left.
(8) Continue straight on the D12, then in the bend after the junction with the D298, take the path on your right which climbs to the edge of the Bois de la Croix, then descends into the valley offering you a beautiful view. You will see the Manoir de Tourpres (Bures-en-Bray) on your right.
Follow the road downhill until you reach the junction with the D12.
(9) Turn left onto the D12, a road that winds upwards. Continue along this road for about 1 kilometre, ignoring the first path on your right.
(10) Turn onto the second path on your right. You will come to a fork in the road.
Take the slightly higher path on your right. Continue along this Bures path, which descends towards the village of Mesnil Follemprise, until you reach the junction with the D298.
(11) At the junction, turn right onto the D298. Continue through the village of Mesnil Follemprise and return to the car park of the village hall, your starting point (S/E).
