The grand tour of Bazian
From Bazian, one of the best-restored villages in Gascony, follow the ridgelines through beautiful landscapes dotted with numerous windmills, signs of a former specialisation in agriculture. In Bazian, south of Vic-Fezensac, you will discover the village and its renovated castle, mills and viewpoints.
Lasséran citizenship trail
A loop with varied landscapes alternating between paths, tracks and trails. This route is designed to be educational, with each kilometre punctuated by a message about respect, difference, tolerance and secularism, making it an educational trail to share with children. Lake Puydarrieux
Short walk around Lake Puydarieux. Bird sanctuary with access to huts.
Route almost entirely marked with yellow signs to be followed in an anti-clockwise direction. Sometimes the markings are difficult to see, damaged or missing. A few paths are difficult to see.

Large loop of Faget-Abbatial
At the start, you can admire the Cistercian church of Saint-Sauveur and, higher up, the abbey house (private property). The rest of the walk is a classic country hike where you will discover the hillsides of the Gers, the Lauze valley, the unmissable duck farm and, if you are lucky, three little donkeys will come to say hello. This route is very well signposted (yellow).
In Lagardère, the landscape comes to you
A hilltop village, Lagardère offers splendid views of the countryside, with its vineyards and multicoloured fields. Its typical Gascon château dominates the surrounding area and is accompanied by a small 12th-century Romanesque chapel.
The Château de Montaut-lès-Crénaux circular
Starting from the Château de Montaut-lès-Créneaux, which overlooks the Aulouste valley, take theGR® de Pays Coeur de Gascogne to reach the Château de Malartic (private) in the Arçon valley. Set in lush green surroundings, the cemetery and small chapel of the château form a beautiful architectural ensemble. You return to the village via a small road passing in front of the Lassale Chapel (private).
The Chemin des Diligences in Monléon-Magnoac
During this easy hike, you will discover the small village of Monléon-Magnoac, panoramic views of the Magnoac hillsides and the Pyrenees, the Marian shrine of Notre-Dame de Garaison, a famous school, and beautiful pine forests, all on a hilly and well-marked trail.
The Hourontan path
At a place called Le Chalet, you will discover an exceptional panorama of the Pyrenees and the village. The Bois de la Paguère is a haven of coolness on summer days. Further on, before reaching the Domaine des Claux, the Bois de Labesse and the valley you will walk along are also places of beauty and serenity. A quick visit to Castelnau-Barbarens is a must before you leave.

The path climbs towards the high hills of Astarac, crosses the Bois d'Aguin and is embellished with wild orchids in season.

Chemin du Yané - Long loop
A beautiful loop with very pleasant paths on the edge of the forest. Beautiful panoramic views await you, including a superb view of the village of Simorre and its fortified church. On the circuit, you will find a sculpture by Japanese artist Teruhisa symbolising the roof.
Chemin du Yané, southern section
A beautiful hike between rivers, woods, meadows and fields around Simorre. The first part follows the Gimone Valley, along fields and through woods, then returns along the ridges with beautiful panoramic views.
The Menhir of the Ger Plateau
The route starts at the top of the Ger hill in Ibos and takes you to the Menhir on the Ger plateau. After entering the woods, the route becomes shaded and you will walk up the Géline. You will see a mini waterfall. You may even spot some deer...

The old railway line at Éauze
A magnificent view of the cathedral and the village of Eauze. Pronounced "éauze" (with the accent on the E). Superb paths through the woods. A hike that is accessible to all. A change of scenery guaranteed.
This is a pleasant walk that follows the route of the old Éauze-Montréal railway line
before reaching the hamlet of Cuherche and the hillside lakes.

In the footsteps of the Romans from Lespugue
It is an easy hike, best done on a sunny autumn day. It will take you to famous historical sites: the Gallo-Roman villa of Montmaurin, Lespugue and its famous Venus, as well as the ruins of its castle. In addition, it is a hilly route with beautiful panoramic views.
Andoins from Soumoulou, the balcony of the Pyrenees
An accessible and varied circular route on the balcony of the Pyrenees. Starting and ending in the centre of Soumoulou, this hike is appealing for its practicality: spacious car park, easy start and a circular route that avoids any complex logistics. The route alternates between quiet roads, country lanes and PR® footpaths, offering a gentle immersion in the contrasting landscapes of the Pyrenees and the Béarn plains.
In the footsteps of Henry IV from Soumoulou
A circular route around the lower part of the village of Soumoulou via Gomer, where you can discover part of Henri IV's trail, the GR® 782, in the hills. The village's central square offers easy parking.
Perissé Mill
This is an easy, short hike starting from the car park at the cemetery in Fleurance, returning there at the end of the walk. Half road, half path, it is a very pleasant walk.
The paths of Loucrup
Observe the traditional architecture of the Bigourdan houses in Orincles and their pebble walls along an easy route, which can be enjoyed by the whole family over half a day while strolling. From the top of the hills, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Pyrenees.
This walk can be done in just under two hours at a brisk pace.
Between Saügle and Louge, starting from Franquevielle
This village was part of one of the five ancient châtellenies of Nébouzan, the châtellenie of Saint-Blancart. The church proudly bears the French motto Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, a rare inscription on a church. All that remains of the castle known as Boussost are a few metres of foundations, close to the town hall, and the church bell tower is thought to be an ancient tower.
Picnics are possible along the route.
La Lande de Franquevielle admires the mountain
The Lande de Franquevielle marks the end of the Lannemezan plateau and overlooks the Garonne valley, a river that flows from Spain. This village was part of one of the five former châtelleries of Nébouzan, the Châtellerie de Saint-Plancart. The church proudly bears the French motto "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité" (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity), a rare inscription on a church. All that remains of the castle known as "Boussost" are a few metres of foundations near the town hall, and the church bell tower is thought to be an ancient tower. There are two picnic areas.
Around Aurenque
A very beautiful walk from the hamlet of Aurenque, along the Gers, through the pretty Petit valley, on the ridges overlooking Castelnau d'Arbieu, which offer a superb view of Fleurance and the surrounding villages, as well as the Pyrenees mountain range.
